The Norseman bits seem really nice, however I hadn't really thought about sharpening the bits I have. I have a nice bench grinder with both course and fine stones....I'll have to do some research on properly sharpening them...

Aluminum, mild steel........ I can't see needing to drill much larger than 1/2, a hole saw now and then. My drill has a 3/8 chuck and my drill press has a 1/2 chuck....

I am looking for a new set of drill bits, I've used Milwaukee, Dewalt, Irwin, Craftsman etc.... I've came to the conclusion that the quick starting style ***** and can't really be sharpened. I just want a solid set for less than $100. What do you guys use? recommend?

What do you guys think of this cross slide? It looks to be better quality than the HF stuff, however some of the reviews aren't the best. It's on Amazon now for $65, anyone own one...

I did a search but didn't find a ton. Looks like they are Taiwan not China, is this correct? I am looking for a drill press vise and they look to be good quality for the price.... anyone have insight? Thanks JR

Thanks guys for all the info... It sounds like a found a good deal. I tore into the thing tonight... cleaning it up... it has a decent amount of surface rust.. but overall it looked to be in good shape.

I picked this older Rockwell drill press up this morning from CL. It's a 1/2hp motor 1/2'' chuck... other than that I don't know much about it, seems to be in decent shape for its age. Model : 15-081 Is anyone familiar with one of these? Is it a good one? Whats it worth? Thanks.
