Radial Arm Saw = Tile saw on the cheap?

If you are just doing one bathroom, you could use a dry cut diamond blade. Most tiles are pretty soft other than the glazing. If you do go with water, make sure the ground wiring is intact and get a GFCI extension cord or plug into a GFCI protected outlet.I bought a 7" wet saw for $50 off craigs...

    Toilet Problem, need help

I think you've eliminated the wax ring as the problem.Maybe where the tank connects to the base is leaking? My brother just stacks two wax rings when the floor has been raised with a second layer of tile.I prefer the one with the plastic spout so I'm sure the water is guided into the pipe.

Older Snap On ratchets not under warranty longer?

Not totally on topic but here goes. In the seventies when I first became a professional mechanic.I had a couple of Snap On ratchets that needed repair. My truck man would only "sell" me an exchange ratchet with the letter E stamped on each. This meant that they would not warrantee any future...

    coleman vs. lennox ?

Thank you Rick for that reply. The building is something of a problem for most techs. The only acess to the units is up a ladder to the roof.Seems most guys won't climb that high.Had one guy say he doesn't do ladders.Another says his union doesn't allow ladder use over ten feet. Like you said I'm...

    coleman vs. lennox ?

I am in the position of getting bids for the replacement of the heat/ac unit for our building. The job requires a crane to lift the units up to the rooftop, two stories up.There will be two units installed, each 5 ton. The estimates for the complete install are $16,000 for the Coleman M#B90-722.The...

    the little compressor that can't

Good morning all.I bought this pretty much for the nostalgia.I'll be using it to fill tractor tires and blow the dust out of the air filters. It's in my little field shop.If I need real air I have a couple other compressors for that.

    the little compressor that can't

Hi every one!I just recently picked up a Kellogg-American air compressor. It's a model A130-B/serial F176559.Plugged it in and half an hour later I got it up to 80 psi.It has a 30 gallon tank. The motor is 1/3 hp.I know it's a little pump and sorta big tank but they look to be a matched set.Should...
