You could give coast a try. I bought the one before the model pictured and have nothing but great things to say. Light weight, slim profile, and unbelievably bright considering it takes one AA battery. I picked mine up at lowes for $20.

For what it sounds like you need I would go with fowler. They make good tools at a good price. Check msc direct they usually sell a 0-4 set for $150

I am not for sure but I think that auto arc is made by milweld not miller. Since I don't anything about that company I would go for the Lincoln. If you could go to $480 I would get a hobart handler 140, but it sounds like the budget is set.

When I bought the 5300mp it was packaged on a skid, so the fork truck was needed. You may be able to have it delivered by a truck with a lift gate though. May cost more.

You can't go wrong with Kennedy. But for an extra $200 I would go with the 5300mp. It's 53 inches wide with a better drawer setup. But that's probably because I have one.

I have the gearwrench set and would buy them again in a heartbeat. Plus the gearwrenches are ball detent so they hold there place very well.

Mickey O is right. The box is a maintenance pro and with tools weighs in around 1000 lbs. You can still push it with one finger. The shop I work in is about 28,000 square feet, so ease of rolling was a big concern. :beer:

Finally got around to taking pictures of my work box. Not much compared to some but i'm 25 and started about three years ago.

I agree with Basskiller. I work on cnc mills and lathes and have found that if you don't need the ball there is room for a socket.
