Above 1200 Sq/FT Garage West to Midwest and a toy barn build

When I was doing garage door work, the sales guys told us that the extra charge per foot of lift on a new door was about $100 each, but to retrofit an older door to a high lift we charged about $250 per foot. Since you're getting rid of the old door you may be able to talk them into discounting...

Above 1200 Sq/FT Garage West to Midwest and a toy barn build

So I did a lil edit of your picture, but if you high lift the door, you can still use a conventional belt or chain drive opener with a longer rail, however I would STRONGLY recommend the jackshaft style openers that mount on the header at the spring tube for the door. I would also recommend the...

Garage door stops 75% closed when cold

If it was a sticky spot the garage door opener would assume it is colliding with something and would reverse not dead stop like this, but still not a bad thing to check!

Garage door stops 75% closed when cold

I honestly would just replace it if it keeps acting up, new belt drive 1-1/4HPe Lift-Master units can be had for around $500(their top of the line belt drive model) and are easy enough to install yourself.

Below 265 SQ/FT Lower Garage Door Bracket Replacement

Amazon.com SET of bottom brackets. A professional would probably recommend replacing the whole door. I honestly would as well. But these brackets should work fine, they are a slightly different design overall but they still have the cable mounts outside of the track and fit on your 2" track...

    Battery backup garage door openers

my preferred is prewire when the house is built lol However, yeah I would have ran it up to the ceiling, so that you could staple the wiring up and out of the way, then straight drop down to the opener. BUT If you are not having any issues with the carriage hitting the wiring strung along I...

    Battery backup garage door openers

As a former garage door technician your wires just hanging across the header and down the rail bother me so much lol

    Socket or machine tool?

As I have looked at your other post about the hex drive sockets, the ratchet/L bar that came with these sockets had a hex drive instead of a square drive, seeing these have the hex at the top means it was probably a female hex drive ratchet with a knock out drive post and these sockets just slip...

    What is it?

I want to say a valve tool as well. Holes on the ends were probably the originals, then ones in the middle were made later to fit a couple sizes and to get shorter but quicker turns in.
