Need advice on paint for a car lift.

I rebuilt a 4 post Bendpak alignment lift. Scuffed the good paint real well. Sandblasted the rust, primed the bare metal and shot the whole lift with color matched automotive urethane paint. It's hard durable and resistant to most auto type fluids. (brake fluid, brake cleaner, gasoline, diesel...

This stuff works great and is easy to install. Last I knew it was just under a dollar a lineal foot. Between my shop and house I have over 500'. I have used well over 1000' in the past 5 years. Some pine needles may/will stick in the holes. All else either drys up and blows off or just blows...

    Window trim gap issue

No more then the gap is use a good quality minimal shrinking flexible caulk to fill the gap. Caulk and run your finger over it to smooth and make the caulk adhere to the trim. Use a good quality paintable caulk. Cheap stuff will shrink/crack over time. In a year you'll have forgotten about it...

    Non-Standard uses for EMT

If remember correctly galvanized needs to be pickled to hold paint well. When I was young (long time ago) gutters were galvanized and we would wash them with vinegar prior to painting to pickle them then rinse off using a sponge and soapy water then spray off with hose. Ive pickled a few items...

Above 1200 Sq/FT A New Shop in Tennesse

The plywood is 1/2". No finish. Did this in a previous garage, it had been in for 15 years when we sold the place. Still looked good. The plywood not only looks good but you can put in a screw where you wish and it has good holding power. I would still hang cabinets on studs. The panels...

Above 1200 Sq/FT A New Shop in Tennesse

The pitched area is above the lift. All ceiling panels are run perpendicular to the trusses. A drywall lift was used to lift each panel in place. 3 people made this job easier. One to run the lift and two on scaffold to put in screws. The person running the lift on the floor "eyeballed" the...
