Less than 100 feet distance between the two. They share the same street address. Mesh wi-fi covers house and workshop and it is hardwired.

Is anyone using a Ring or Simplisafe security system on both your house and detached shop? I'm about to replace my current security system and wanted to incorporate the workshop into the system. Was wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions?

The covered box is right next to the above ground box. I’m pretty sure it is not electrical, as it was put in at the same time and I remember the AT&T guys working in it.

I'm finishing my new workshop now and did this exact thing. 200 amp because my workshop is 55 feet from the pole. House is 125 feet from the pole. Glad you like it because I wasn't quite sure I wanted to do it this way but I could easily add more capacity to the workshop this way.
