Walmart Getting Serious About Tools in 2026?

The lowest price I see for a cordless Dremel is about $80 at Lowe's. Where are you finding any cordless Dremel product for$30? Are you comparing the Dremel that runs off a USB cord perhaps? That's about $25. As far as battery price vs battery with a tool, if it surprises you that they are so...

To each their own, but seems like less hassle to just open it up and turn the button slide thing around.

    CT meter accuracy if missized?

Agreed! The boiler and furnace will eat up 150 amps. A dryer and a range running at the same time could potentially eat up the other 50 amps. And then you throw in a hair dryer and a TV and a stereo and all the lights and you're over 200 amps. Is there a buffer added like when sizing circuit...

    Pex Expander?

3/4" pex is right at twice the area as 1/2" pex. I wait almost a minute for hot water to get to the shower. I would hate waiting twice as long.

How to pack end mills for shipping ? I dont have the original plastic containers

I like to cut up card stock or cereal boxes wrap a couple turns around the em, then stuff paper towels in the ends or fold the ends of the tube closed. Be sure what you put them in won't be easily punctured if one gets loose.

it's quite common that people to think you need 3 wire plus ground for 240 volts

What point are you trying to prove by pretending that what you are describing is remotely relevant to this discussion? All you do by continuing to insist that 240 uses a hot and a neutral in the USA is confuse new people who don't know any better. Does it exist? Yes. Is it relevant? Not at all.

    Need to bend 3/16" steel

Buddy cut out a skid plate for his bronco. I have a 50t press, so bending it should be a piece of cake. My old press brake accessory was 1/2"x4" for both the ram and the bed (I'm not sure if that's actually what the die rests on, but that's what I'm calling it.) anyway, it takes less than 35t to...

    2026 Tool Truck Sightings

I put "home" in Google as a place a few blocks from home. Maybe he pinned the neighbor down the street as his place, but I guess if Cornwell did it on his behalf, probably not.

    linesets

That's not a builder problem. It's the person paying to have the house built. They chose the cheaper-to-install windows for a reason. If you pay the builder enough, they'll install whatever windows you want.

    Try square opinions?

We have a bunch of starrett measuring tools at the makerspace. Just like any tools, you have to take care of them or they end up damaged. The two starrett try squares in the metal shop both are loose.
