Please recommend a garden tractor for my use

I have been in a similar position at several of my homes throughout life. If I can picture what you describe, I would look for a good used riding mower, get a second set of blades and upgrade your leaf blower to gas. All this should be able to be acquired for around 1/2 of your budget and give...

Distance between two garages facing each other.

As others have said, you can mock this up. I would also recommend that you think about what the longest item(s) you would be maneuvering in this space both now and in the future. Just more of a proactive question and not looking to paralyze the thought process with an attempt at clairvoyance.

New Toolchest, Modify Casters Now or Never

+1 for leave it as is. I have several cabinets loaded down and have never had any issues with rolling them around and locking them in place.

Looking for 2 EDC pocket knives: one utility and one really nice

Ontario Rat makes a pretty good knife with good steel at a reasonable price. I'm partial to my Spyderco Paramilitary 2 for EDC and also like the Benchmade line, especially the autos.

    wheel barrow recommendations

I have a 2 wheel wheelbarrow with the poly tub and like the stability. It depends what your looking to haul. This one works good for most items but if you are doing concrete or rock, a single wheel metal tub would be better. Going through gates or smaller pathways should ge a consideration as well.

    Light bulbs

I'm in the same spot you are right now with lighting and 14' ceilings and I will either hire it out or rent a man lift to do it. Ladders are not out of the question, but I am going the 8' route with my LED strip lights and will need another person to help me out. I would not consider putting...

    Wiring Begins.....

I may end up doing just that depending on pricing and my budget but wanted to ask the question to see if you all had any recommendations on fixtures first.

    Wiring Begins.....

Just an update, been busy with work and life and the wiring has been on hold for the summer. Winter is here now and I have all the outlets roughed in and tied the ground wires both upstairs and down. I also cut in 4 outside outlets for the wife and kids to plug in to and the 30 and 50 amp...
