I'd get the first one that also has the flank drive ends. I saw a comparison on Tiktok and they are almost as good as HF. ;) :D

control joints on monolithic slab with curb and footer?

Cutting control joints is so 20th Century. When they did my garage they used a plastic T-Bar and put it into the concrete. Did there basic power troweling etc and then pulled out the T-bar for the final finish troweling. Yes it fills in and gets smoothed out. The joint is invisible when...

    Anyone see this on reddit?

I have a friend who went through and organised a dead friends shop. I said give me a list and I'll list it on GJ. The Auctioneer told the family the auction will probably get equal or more than list at the 'Estate Auction Sale'. Apparently he had a bunch of nice acreage stuff also.

Why are Snap-On toolboxes so expensive?

I take it that you mean all the dividers are the carriage system. IMHO, they are only useful if you are storing parts or doing only one thing repetitively.

Installing brush seals through a steel header plate: How-to?

Use a Nail gun and get some "steel" nails. Personally I would use Hilti nails because they would get the correct items for me. Hilti guns are at all construction rental places. for example https://www.hilti.ca/c/CLS_FASTENER_7135/CLS_NAILS_7135/r19811375?activeTab=preconfigured-kits-tabs...

    Structural question if I may.

I will not give you links from here. You have to address the issue there. You said you were on some sort of hill. HILLS MOVE. You live in Iowa. The GROUND FREEZES. Ground movement is inevitable. You have to talk to people who are in the know. Building departments have seen problems for...

    Structural question if I may.

I am not talking about inspections. I am talking about your building foundation moving. They will tell you if it's an issue. Here as soon as you say buildings are going to connected there is a proper way to do it. It may or may not be an issue where you live. It is better to do it right...

    Structural question if I may.

Not a problem on the trusses as has been mentioned. The Problem I see is that you are connecting 2 structures. HERE there's a big problem with building movement due to seasonal movement (frost). Nobody thinks their building moves, but.... Here you have to properly tie the foundations...

Thumbs down and zero stars to Oregon electric tools.

.. and the remaining ones will get mortgaged to the hilt, so the investors make a quick buck. In my opinion, they will be bankrupt in 5 years and liquidated.

Thumbs down and zero stars to Oregon electric tools.

Look at it this way, the CEO of Oregon kept profits high so he could get a big bonus. Give him a call and see if he'll give you some money to buy another system. hahaha
