Thinking you may want to double check and confirm a Suburban/Tahoe will fit width wise on an HD-9ST. If I recall correctly that is the narrow version of the HD-9 and you may have an issue with a large SUV such as mentioned above in your post.

Looks fantastic, job well done Gerry! I picked up 825 sq ft of Race Deck 3-4 years ago and they still sit in the corner of my garage in their original boxes. After I got them I saw a few threads from guys who installed porcelain tiles and began to think I should go that way. Haven't done it yet...

If planning on a lift in the future I would go with 12' walls at a minimum.

The siding is nailed to the purlins (2x4's) which are nailed to the 6x6 posts. Commonly used on pole barns.

Ran line around back of post and used a metal plate to avoid any potential nails coming through the siding. Thinking that was the best solution for the situation.

Running 12gauge for outlets in Pole Barn. Looking for advice on best way to handle getting past this corner 6x6 support as adding outlets to walls on both sides of corner. Doesn't seem like a good idea to run behind on outside of 6x6. Is it acceptable to bore hole in 6x6 and pull through?

Oh yeah, installed 2 of them 4 years ago and no regrets. Just takes a bit of fiddling around when it comes to the adjustments. Would never go back to the traditional openers as the wall mounted jack shaft is smooth and quiet.

Thanks for the advice on resetting the lowering limit and tension. New tsunami seal installed and works like a charm. Took a bit of playing around but the end results are a nicely operating doors that stay down and keep the water out!
