Yep, I did on purpose. My other bench uses steel and the vibrates and bounces when you hit anything on it. This one is like a mountain - it's not going anywhere. :D

Not sure if you guys use it over there but it's the heavy duty plywood with the black facing they use for building concrete forms. The black facing stops the concrete sticking to it. I'll copy the post and drop it in there. Just to keep you happy.j/k :)

I've had a few centuras over the years. My last one was very nice. Had a 265 & 4-speed in it when I got it, put a turbocharged 245 and 904 Torqueflite in it for fun. But parts are hard to come by for them now so I decided to stick with Valiants.

i'll have to post up some new pictures. Finished the power tools cupboard with shelve completed for the bigger stuff, and decked out another cupboard with shelves for plastic storage containers. It's nice knowing where all the tools are now and where they belong when it's time to pack...
