    The repurposing thread

Some of you might remember my repurpose of part of a Soloflex into a Mailbox post on page 48. I won’t re-post that pic but I had two more Soloflex machines that I got cheap when things were down and selling cheap or given away. This time I made a King Size Bed out of the square tubing along with...

What’s a bigger cause of Abrasive Disc failure on a Chop Saw?

Ideally yes, you’re right, you probably shouldn’t rush cutting with one. I have drug chopsaw wheels down to a stop without breaking them and continued to use them until they needed thrown away without issue. it’s the sudden hits when you pull down on the handle too fast that breaks or chips...

Anyone have any PEX or other Brand Horror stories?

I guess Pex has been out for quite a while now, I’m wondering about problems associated with this style of plastic water tube. I recently saw a video where this guy moved into a used home and had problems with his tubing bursting. I’m thinking about the possible nightmares one might have...

    Fabricating a rifle bipod??

Yeah, a Camera Tripod might not do it for you if you’re using a .50 BMG, I think it might depend on how high you had it raised though. If you had it lowered maybe.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Maybe, I don’t do a whole lot of wood work. Probably going to look best without it.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Yeah, I was going for kind of an Industrial look. I thought the blade might look good but probably not. I do like the curved look at the top it gives it though.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I’ve been working on this King size Bed frame and Headboard for myself. Today I gave the wood the Sho sugi ban treatment. What do you think, with or without the saw blade?

    Fabricating a rifle bipod??

I’ve used a camera Tripod. You could use one of those and remove a leg. They even have a screw that you could use to mount it to your gun with.
