Got a fix it ticket for a bad headlight on my old Delta 88. Changed out the bulb and went to get a cop to sign off on it. Drove about 10 miles to the station and got the cop. When we came out guess what was sitting there? Screwdriver and torx driver layin on the bumper. Thats what happens when...

The pawl has a deep cut and a shallow cut, the deep cut has to face out or it wont go back together. I tried. This is some crazy stuff, gettin my *** beat by a ratchet ....... Some mechanic I turned out to be.

I ordered all 3 sets. This forum is getting expensive lol. :lol_hitti

I checked that pawl, no missing teeth lol. I think I'm gonna just send it to Matco.

I will have to spray it out with brake cleaner, just havent gotten to it yet.

The plunger is spring loaded yes. Where does one buy a rebuild kit?

The selector lever will not stay to the left. You can feel the detent but when you have it to the left and turn the ratchet the lever will move to the center and lock up. IDK if the selector can be replaced or not, no screws holding it together. I put two drops of oil in it, still broken.

I don't disagree sir but i see no springs. What happens is when i turn it the one way the selector moves toward the center and it locks. I didn't use all that much grease, cleaned it all out but it didn't help much. The selector looks like a single piece, IDK if it comes apart or not. I'm gonna...

No springs in there. I feel like throwing it into a river to be honest, but that won't solve much..........
