Those Icon extensions have 2 detents. The first detent allows the socket to wobble. If you push the socket on further, then it acts like a standard extension.

Good to know. I wasn't aware that there were differences in depth and drawer extension between the 44" and 56" boxes. I was kicking around the idea of building a work bench around the USG boxes like others have done here on the forums.

12 point has always been fine for me. If I needed some serious torque to break free a rusty fastener, I can't see myself reaching for a ratcheting wrench. I also don't live in the rust belt anymore, so I don't encounter severely rusted fasteners.
