Helping a friend out by cleaning up and checking out this drill press. Looking for one quill handle and motor tightening bolt. Quill has some tight spots when traveling and down so will check that out. Should be a fun little project until the snow goes away Any tips or input appreciated

Don't know much about D.C. motors. Can I just run the motor on any d.c. battery ie. 18-12-6 volts? Want to use Milwaukee 18 v but speed is to fast. Going to install jack shaft with bigger and smaller pulley to get lowest speed I can get. Right now with 18 v with 1.5" motor, 4.5" on braider...

Just picked up a pretty nice model 8 to clean up and use. On the trip home one bolt and bushing vibrated out from somewhere and fell down into fluid pan. Could someone with model 8 tell me where it may go? Otherwise I will have to wait until parts Manuel arrives Thanks for any help. Bill
