Welcome to the journal! I'm not the expert on vises. There are a couple of great threads on the site with some really knowledgeable people on them. But all you need to fabricate that jaw is some patience, a hacksaw, a drill and maybe a file and some more patience if you want it to look nice...

Great idea if you've got a mig/tig. I've only got a stick machine and plug weld a nut onto the broken screw. Much easier to hold the nut in position while you're starting the arc and between the heat and the new head, they've always com out easily. Just choose a nut slightly smaller the the...
