    Looking for a hammer

Similar but the "flat cross peen" or whatever it is called is on the back of the French style not on the front like the one in the video. The one in the video actually looks like it was made for prying as opposed to striking. Spike99250 ...... maybe try asking in the video comments? Seth

    PB Swiss Screwdrivers

The Wera ................ are even hard to actually find in Germany. I have friend there that managed to get some of them for me. But many of the places that have them listed for sale do not actually have them anymore. I just need size 2 and 3. I have a email out to another seller in another...

    PB Swiss Screwdrivers

I tried the PB Swiss drivers for slotted screws (regular sizes , not precision). Though I like parallel tips I do not like the PB Swiss parallel tips. They are "pre-rounded" , rounded corners and edges. You can see this "rounding / smoothing" in the pic above. I found that compared to others...

    Show me your wrench drawer

These are all on Ernst wrench rails. Forward and reverse in a variety of combinations. The drawer is 18" deep and about 50" wide. I think it is 100 wrenches with a little space left. I cut the rails to whatever lengths worked. Because the spacing on the rails varies by slot size you can...

    Semi deep full broach

Aaah, yes, OK. It is there. That's what I looked at before, but for some reason the generic drawing shape and the term "wrench depth" was making me think it was a different measurement. Thanks, Seth

    Semi deep full broach

Trying to find info on the actual depth of the broach on Gearwrench semi-deep in 3/8" drive. Anyone know where to find measurements on the net? The GW site does not have that measurement , pretty much everything but. Or maybe someone could measure a socket? Say a 9/16" Seth

Your Thoughts about a 3/8" Breaker Bar

I was on the 3/8" breaker bar quest a couple years ago. I ended up with the Koken. It is really nice 15" with a very compact head. Just used it yesterday where the 1/2" x 24" would have been very awkward. Seth

Knipex Crimpers for Heat Shrink Splice Connectors

I have the Knipex 97 52 36. Which is not heat shrink specific (didn't realize there was such a thing). They work very well for non-heat shrink. And I have just recently used them on heat shrink connectors and they worked well for those too. I am not sure that the 97 52 37 are for the standard...

    dust collection or vacum

Stats aside the simple difference is....... DC = high volume / low velocity and vac is low volume / high velocity air movement. In general vacs will perform better connected to hand held power tools or tools where the port is close to the dust source and can collect from a concentrated spot...

The odor of old screwdriver handles...

    Utility Knife Roundup

I like these two the best of any I have tried. Irwin - different model than in previous posts. Lenox (made by Lenox or ?) Very similar design to the Irwin but different. Both fill / fit my hand ergonomically better than others. Both have a latch open (no screw), both have...
