For those hard to match hammered painted items. Has anybody used the Rustoleum flat clear hammered spray over a color that matches the original color? Does it work well or produce a similar looking match?

I've recently acquired an old SK Wayne tools display rack with out the paperboard (I'm assuming) tool model #'s and size tags. I'm looking for pics of these tags so I can try to reproduce them somehow. But as of now, I can't find any pics online of them. This is what the rack looks like.

So I picked up a small SK Wayne socket set box. Thinking of re painting it. It's originally a blue hammered color. The Rustoleum hammered light blue is too light. Anybody know of one that's closer to the original color? Thanks.
