What Tool is this Blue Point AT22

I have a tool identified as a Blue Point AT22. To me it looks like a rebranded Lisle or similar vintage US specialiaty manufacturer. I searched Ebay and on line and came up short. The barrel ends are different sizes. I first thought it was for brake shoe washers but there is no taper in...

    Sunex Adjustable Hose Pliers

I just purchased this Sunex 3/4" adjustable hose grip pliers for a heater core replacement in my daughter's Taurus. They worked amazingly well to get the heater hoses off the fire wall. They were $25 on Amazon, made in China. The build quality was ok but not great, but they got the job done...

HF Series 2 Roll Cab Drawer Relocation

Does anyone have experience with relocating the drawers in the HF Series 2 26" roll cab? I was considering one for use as a tool cart, but I would like to have a deep drawer at the top for sockets.

    Help ID Old Top Box

Can anyone ID this old top box? The flat face on the front of the lid and the side handles don't look correct for a Snap On box. I did some research and this is similar to a KA56, but I don't think that's what it is. Any ideas? Thanks

Convert Snap On TM70 Rat to Bit Driver

Does anyone know if the RKRTM936 repair kit for the TM936 bit ratchet be used to convert a TM70 to a bit driver? I have a spare TM70 and would like to convert it if possible. It doesn't appear the TM70 series ratchets were ever offered as bit drivers.

Husky Tool Cart similar to HF

I noticed the Husky tool cart tonight at Home Depot. Looks very similar to the HF 5 drawer cart except for the drawer layout. It only comes in black and the price I saw was $169. It did come with metal pegboard on one end.

How to straighten racked side box

I bought a pile of used tool boxes over the weekend that included a Snap On KR277 side cabinet. I was messing with it and noticed the door across the front didn't close. A diagonal measurement across the front shows a difference of about 3/4" on the diagonal which I assume means the box is...

    Compressor Oil Level

I traded a guy yesterday for a 2008 vintage Masterforce oil filled 2 gallon trim compressor. The dipstick is missing. How do I determine how much oil to put into it when I change the oil? The obvious answers are look at the sight glass (there isn't one) or refill with the same amount that is...

    Amazing Mac 1000 Box

I answered an ad for a Mac 11 drawer 1000 tool box on Craigslist for $500. My only interest was flipping it. It turned out to be a memorable evening. He had a detached garage missing the overhead door and a yard full of stuff that probably should have been in the garage. The box was in the...

Repair Snap On Dual 80 Flex Ratchet Handle

I recently bought a damaged Snap On FHRLF ratchet. This is a Dual 80 cushion handle flex ratchet with quick release. Someone overtorqued the ratchet which spread the yoke that mates with the ratchet head and cracked the handle near the threaded hole in the handle. In other words the handle is...

    Identify Vintage Roller Cab

I scored this Craftsman top box and vintage roller cab at a local pawn shop last night. Does anyone have any idea who made the roller cab? It has creeper style casters and a unique shaped emblem. The handles have a tiny man logo. The body of the man is either a hex nut or V-shaped. The box...

Roller cabnet in a work van

Anyone have experience with removing the casters from a 26" roller cabinet and using it in a work van? I have a 1 ton van I use in my landlord gig. I probably drive it 100-150 miles per month. I am considering mounting an old Performax 8 drawer in the van for storing hand tools. The...

    Road Box or Industrial Box

What companies made road boxes or industrial tool boxes? I bought one yesterday at a pawn shop and I can't find a manufacturer's name. It has a drop front that is hinged from the bottom and four drawers that are galvanized metal. They are supported by heavy L brackets, so no drawer slides...

Does anyone know what era this Craftsman box is from? http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/ZqYAAOSwyvBV91lE/s-l1600.jpg I was looking at one like this at a pawn shop this evening. It was marked $24.99 and without me asking the manager said it was mine for $12 plus tax for the box and all the tools...

Stanley Fatmax 18" cantilever tool box

I saw this tool box while shopping at Menards today. It seems like a pretty decent box, water resistant, two cantilever sections on ball bearing slides, and a decent sized bottom compartment for $35. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ESYC9AI/?tag=atomicindus08-20 Does anyone have one?
