I have a 20v Dewalt string trimmer....ans wondering if any of the available 3 blade steel brush cutter blades will fit...and work....for some casual bush cutting?

Picked up a real nice set of these today.....on craigslist. The gentleman that I bought them from said got them in the mid 90's. I know they've been around since the 50's.... Were there earlier different styles/types....or did they all look like this?

Picked this up on craigslist last month.... Was working...when parked 30 years ago... Found a similar one in a 1955 Fairbanks-Morse catalog.....priced at $754.00. That was a lot of $$$ back then.

Anybody here fooling around with these? My interest is in the standard ...or high velocity type.... Ramset...Omark.....Winchester.......Speed.....etc.

Had this model 852....for nearly 20 years.......and am still very happy with it.... Hadn't used it for a month or so....and it appears that maybe my charger has quit.......and or BOTH batteries crapped out at the same time.... All I get on the charger is a flashing green light....with or...

Looking for the square plug that's fits this type of ratchet to drive the sockets. I believe there are different lengths and they do have the socket "ball retainers" on either end. Does anybody know of a source? I'm also posting in the classifieds....

Picked up this 3/8 ratchet a while back....found the right parts,I think? Haven't dismantled it yet,but appears that we need to,... to install the lever and pin.... Is this a press in deal?...the square end of lever doesn't quite fit the hole in ratchet.... Figured I'd ask here BEFORE I...

Ok,I've been buying (and using) Craftman handtools since 1968 and started thinking of them as collectible about 5 years ago....Why do we need MORE than THREE ratchets? I'm a "hobbyist"...so most of my stuff is in decent clean condition...my parents taught me to look after my "toys". So what...

OK,I want to take apart some of my older ratchets for D & C tomorrow and was wondering what is the best type lube to use? Prefer to use something simple that I may have on the shelf already. I generally hit them with PB Blaster to loosen things up,but figure something a bit more substantial...

For the guys up north... Just curious how many Canadian tool (sockets,wrenches,etc. )manufacturers there were in Canada and if ANY are still making product there today? I have seen Mac, Snap on,Proto and Gray branded with made in Canada....have I missed any?

I've got a 5/8? Craftsman combination wrench here somewhere........looks to be 70's style and is marked made in Japan.... Thought it was odd...:confused:..what's the story on that? Will post a picture if I can lay my hands on it....
