Finished restoring my 1951 Atlas Drill Press

I picked this 1950's Atlas 1060 drill press up for $200 a few years ago and finally got around to doing a full resto on it. It was completely torn apart cleaned and painted. I put in new bearings, rewired, and lubed hopefully ready for another 70 years of use. Someone had stuck an old...

Interesting ratchet internals in my old Walden bullet handle

I pulled my old Walden apart to clean and lube and found the ratcheting mechanism pretty interesting compared to every other one I've taken apart. The pawls spin and the teeth are fixed.

    Justin's 2+1

I just bought my first house! It doesn't have the dream garage I wanted but it's better than nothing. We have an attached one car, a detached two car, and a huge driveway for a suburban neighborhood. The previous owner for some reason built a two car but only installed a one car door. Kind...

I recently bought a house and in the cold storage room/cellar in the basement, there's a large hole in the wall that the previous owner half-assedly threw some vent over. It also appears that it leaks down the wall. I'm trying to think of the best way to permanently fill this hole. My idea was...

Lets see your truck bed toolbox!

My girlfriend and I are in our late twenties and decided we want to stop renting a large house and hit the road full time in a 5th wheel before we get tied down. I'm giving up my two car garage and huge tool boxes for a truck bed tool box, I'd love to see some organized truck bed boxes.
