What's the difference between these two Craftsman wrenches that one is listed for nearly ten times as much as the other?

They look the same to me just different part numbers. $30: $260:

I seem to be at a point where I don't need any new tools for the first time I can recall.

I need to place an order for some supplies at JB Tool, about $40 worth, but my cheap self won't let me until I get the total up to $99 for the free shipping. I haven't seen anything I want to add for $60 that I don't already have or that I can really use or even want. Will look again tonight...

Gravity fed media blaster not working with long nozzle attached

I'm using it to walnut blast the carbon on intake valves. It came with that short white nozzle and works fine with it. But when I replace that with an 8 inch nozzle for walnut blasting, I get just air coming out. I removed the black feed hose from the handle, and there is no suction when I pull...

What do you call this connector I need for my walnut blaster adapter?

I just got this Hyundai/Kia walnut blaster adapter, https://www.ebay.com/itm/113728297369 It connects to a shopvac but the shopvac hose diameter is a bit bigger than the adapter diameter. I think something like this would work: Looking at Home Depot under "hose adapter" but see nothing...

This is a scam website for tools, right?

Been looking for this brake cable tool that usually goes for over $70 and found this place selling it for $30 as well as other tools cheap. If it's too good to be true, it's a scam, right? https://www.onesubic.com/product-p-172985.html

Is this jack release valve replaceable?

8 ton long ram jack in an engine crane. The release valve has been so stiff that I can't turn it with the handle and have to use a crescent wrench. Today I broke off one side of the release valve and relied on the other, but that will probably break off soon too.

Got to like a TPMS tool for this, even if you don't have OCD.

Easy to set tire pressures to match. Good luck doing that with a pencil gauge.

Looking for larger tie rod socket

I got this Sunex socket a few years ago, and was ready to use it for the first time on an Econoline van. But the inside diameter of 48 mm is just a couple mm too small to fit over the end of the tie rod. Any suggestions who makes a slightly larger one at a reasonable price.

How to clean up mangled threads on threaded rod?

This is on a cheap Chinese bushing press tool. First time I've used it for this purpose in 10 years. I have a die on it but can't hold the rod tight enough by hand to run the die down the damaged areas. If I hold it with vice grips, it will probably damage that spot as well. It's an M12x 1.50...

Can I drill a hole into a rubber stopper?

The plastic lower steering column shroud is broken where the two mounting bolts attach it to the column, so it's rattling every time I get in and out of the car. I can wedge it tight to the column with two rubber stoppers and longer bolts, but how hard is it to drill a hole in rubber? For an M4...

Anyone have this flexible light bar?

Seems pretty tempting. Anyone got it yet.

Anybody use this type of battery lifter?

The type that lifts the battery by the terminals. I've used one for probably 30 years but in the back of my mind have thought the terminals might be fragile and lifting 30 or 40 pounds of battery from them could damage something inside.

Do you need an extension with flip sockets?

I have standard anvil length impact wrenches so will I need an extension with flip sockets like this? If so, does anyone sell single half size sockets like 19.5?

Disappointed with new Mayhew hose clamp pliers

My 20+ year old Mayhew 28630 finally broke so I figured I get another Mayhew, model 28680. First off, the metal in the new one is literally half the thickness of my old one, Second, the new one has half the ratchet teeth and you have to squeeze further before they engage, And third and...

Which name brand tool maker sells this ribbed crankshaft pulley remover?

Also for alternator pulleys. I see them on Ebay for under $25 but assume they are a knock off of a name brand tool.

What crimper is used on these **** connectors?

They come in various sizes for wire gauges from 24-26 to 10-12. I use 24-26 and 18-22 most and have been using this crimper, but for larger wire connectors they aren't that effective.

Will Rigid replace extension cords under warranty?

I bought some 14/3 50' cords a year and a half ago from Home Depot. Plugged two together a week ago but now they won't come apart. Would this be covered under their lifetime warranty? I want them replaced, not a refund as I still need them.

Any name brand 1" to 1/2" drive impact adapter?

Looking to use my 1" drive impact with 1/2" drive sockets. Currently use a 1"-3/4" plus a 3/4"-1/2" adapters but that is getting old. And before you say, use 1" drive sockets, I have some but they are too thick to reach lug nuts and some crankshaft pulley bolts.
