    New Craftsman low profile ratchets

https://www.craftsman.com/pages/low-profile? Anybody try them out yet? I've stopped using straight ratchets a few years ago in favor of the locking flex head style Gearwrench, but this looks like the OG Craftsman of a decade or two ago.

    Suggestions for a TPMS tool?

I have an older Ateq VT55 that only works on cars up to 2012 and no updates are available. What is a good replacement that can program many aftermarket sensors and doesn’t require annual paid updates to keep working? Looking under $300. The Autel TS508 looks good but only programs Autel...

What brand of medium cure plastic repair in 50 ml cartridge?

I've been using Lord Fusor 153 for years and use it on all kinds repairs, but it has been discontinued in the 50 ml cartridge and is only available as 152 in a 300 ml cartridge. The 50 ml 153 lasts me a year or two which is beyond the shelf life to begin with, so a 300 ml cartridge of 152 would...

I thought chlorinated brake cleaners were banned in OTC states

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the chlorinated variety cleans better but is worse for the environment so some states like mine, MD, have banned it. I can find non-chlorinated everywhere but I also see WorldPac has this chlorinated one in my state for $4, Is this better than the...

Where to get seals for Torin 12T bottle jack?

Model T91208 Fluid has starting leaking out of the top of the rams and it's only a few years old. Doesn't anybody sell a seal kit that doesn't cost almost as much as a new jack itself? Is it even rebuildable? I don't see any way to take it apart and there is nothing about it on the Torin website.

Which air chucks that lock on the valve stem?

I have this style now, which is nearly useless as it doesn't stay on tire valve stem or the air tank valve stem when I'm filling it to 120 psi. It only has a simple single spring loaded blade that is supposed to grip the stem's threads. Has anybody tried this LockNFlate model...

What tool to get this connector out of transmission?

This is a Mercedes 722.9 transmission and I'm removing the valve body. The electrical connector goes through the case and you're supposed to press it through with your fingers while lowering the valve body. After 16 years, it wont budge. What tool can I use to help press it down and out? No room...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/364091968608 Bought one maybe 20 years ago on Ebay as a spare after buying one 10 years before that from JC Whitney. Only use it once every few years now when I have a car with a distributor, but great to have. Are they still being made new?

    Heating RTV before using?

I have this GTE applicator tool, It secures the tube of RTV with the crimped end, then as the slider moves forward squeezing the tube, it forces the RTV out. Sometimes the RTV is thick and the crimp unfolds as you squeeze. Would preheating the tube help? Like in a glass of hot water?

    Any ball bearing experts here?

I'm rebuilding a Honda transmission and this one bearing is discontinued. Honda number 91004-PHR-003. It's an NTN bearing and I can find the size 26x72x15.5 mm but what is the /14.5 at the end mean? NTN part 3TM-SC05B97 looks like the right dimension but without /14.5 and without that...

Looking to get a micron gauge for auto a/c

I've had many instances recharging a car and waiting the requisite 15 minutes after vacuuming to see if the system looses any vacuum, and it doesn't so assumedly there are no leaks, so I go ahead and charge it. Then a few days to a few weeks later I find the charge has leaked out. So I'm looking...

What tool to enlarge holes in steel flanges

I'm drilling out the upper bolt that snapped off in this exhaust manifold. There is a welded nut behind it so nearly 3/4 inches of metal to go through. Started with 1/16 bit and worked up to about 3/16, after which it's getting slower and slower. The point of the bit has nothing to grab on to so...
