    No BS screwdriver guide

All my dads Snap on hard handles are "pre-anti cam out" but it's what I compared my Williams to in this thread. Can't say its exactly apples to apples. I was contemplating buying a set of brand new, current production blue hardhadles but they are about $140, that would be the best comparison...

    whats in your "junk drawer"?

I have a few junk draws between 3 boxes. One is nothing but random nuts, bolts, washers, fittings etc., my main junk drawer has about 2 dozen different lengths and sizes of fuel and coolant hose (always shorter than what I need!), extra tool pouches/socket rails and clips, novelties, beer...

oil compressor leaking oil at intake

I just got a call from a carpenter friend of mine. He just noticed that his air compressor is leaking oil at the intake filter. I have not been out to look at it, and I can't make it until the morning and he is/was planing on spraying a lot tomorrow. What could be causing this? perhaps the...

Tools stolen in NE Florida: Reward offered

I'll keep a look out for Knipex and Hazet down here at the pawn shops, I have never seen either brand in any pawn shop around here, anything in number will be suspicious.

    Aviation Mechanics..Let's See Your Toolboxes!

I am not an aviation mechanic but I did have a discussion related to this thread with my Snap-On dealer the other day. We were on the topic of .gov contracts and he told me a story about NASA's toolboxes that Snap-on designed for them. In order to A. prevent theft and B. keep track of tools...

    it's 2013 garage sale season!...

Outlaw, you always score coolest old stuff! I'm not sure if it's my town or Florida in general but I just do not run across many old tools. Considering FL was never an industrial state when we did that kind of thing (like make stuff), so maybe thats why? Old fishing gear though, lots of that!

    What's most common 4/12 or 6/12 pitch

+ 1. 12 foot ceilings makes room for a full size lift. If you can't do 12', you can see if you can put in some custom trusses (if you are going to use trusses) to make a big tray ceiling outline above the lift but it will cost some $$ and engineering. In Florida, and most of the deep "south"...

    Snap-on store has opened

Not sure exactly but the owner has been with Snap-on for over 25 years with truck and management positions in corporate Snap-on so I am sure it is okay. I know that you can't sell tools in other people's route domain, so as long as the store front is in your domain I am sure it's okay.

    Snap-on store has opened

UPDATE: Went to the Snap-on "store" today. All I can say is AWESOME. I counted 15 tool boxes and carts on display along with welders, tire changers/balancers, promo stuff, shirts, hats, power tools, hand tools etc. If you are in the area, stop by on a Saturday. If you don't know Juan or any of...
