Advance Auto just added nearly all Fram filters to their clearance

I disagree, a quality oil filter is much more important than an air filter when it comes to the longevity of an engine.

Advance Auto just added nearly all Fram filters to their clearance

Thanks, grabbed some cabin and air filters for the daily drivers. I'll be sticking to WIX tho for my oil filters

New compressor and sandblasting cabinet, what do I need for dry air?

The filter/moisture trap has an "auto drain" on it. When the compressor shuts off the check valve at the tank inlet closes. The feed line from the pump returns to atmospheric pressure. Once the auto drain on the filter drops below 5psi it opens and any moisture falls out. There is also a drain...

New compressor and sandblasting cabinet, what do I need for dry air?

The cooler I am running is a remote trans cooler. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004XONT3E/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I ran 5/8'' OD soft copper line, flared ends and 1/2''NPT Milton filters and regulator. Long runs of type L copper on the wall would be very expensive and take up a bunch of wall...

New compressor and sandblasting cabinet, what do I need for dry air?

I have a DIY aftercooler setup with a filter between the pump and the tank. The auto drain in the filter dumps the moisture every time the compressor shuts off and the check valve closes. On the tank output there is a coalescing filter, regulator, etc. IMO it works excellent and pulls a ton of...

    Air compressor water trap location

My aftercooler setup works impressively well, I haven't gotten a drop of water out of the tank, and just a few dribbles out of the coalescing filter.

    Air compressor water trap location

Mount your aftercooler between the pump and the tank. Mount a basic filter/moisture trap with an auto drain in between the output of the aftercooler and the tank. When the compressor shuts off and the check valve closes the pressure will drop and the water will drain.

    HF blast cabinet

After using my cabinet for the first time last night I blasted a motorcycle tank and it worked really well but I think I am going to point the baffle towards the front and add a little door that pivots over the intake so I can adjust the flow...

    HF blast cabinet

Which direction the air flows through the cabinet probably does not matter much. I made a baffle the other day for my new cabinet and it faces rearward, I can always move it if needed. I also capped the top of the stock baffle on the back. My thought was to keep the draw down by the blasting...
