Butyl in the rear. My buddy wanted to go with urethane in the front. (Or both but I already got the butyl for the rear)

Mod move as needed

About ready to install the front glass on my 66 Corvair. It's thinner than stock and my helper who's done glass install before suggest a tube type sealer/adhesive. 3M has at least 3 types. Wondering if anyone has a recommendation. Doesn't have to be 3M. Thanks!

Corvair split case stand. Cheap RV bumper tow mount added to my bench. some scrap metal and my neighbor rewelding it for me (Parkinson's *****!)

Had brain surgery July 17th and went thru hell with the meds. 3 plus weeks of being a couch potato. Back to feeling pretty good. My garage a/c is not cooling well. Probably needs a charge? I'll start a thread on that. The Corvair sits and waits for me to have energy and cooler weather. pics soon.

Thanks! I used it in WA. (Tacoma ish) and never had an issue. Was wondering if it could handle the heat/sun. Looks like my chances are good.

Dropped off Corvair parts. Done reinventing the wheel on the HF blast cabinet. Not sure my borrowed compressor is up for the challenge. I'll revisit the cabinet later. For a free cabinet, it sure is expensive! 😆

Got a deal at W-M for tires. Mounted 2 w/o tools. Not fun. My friend who is a HS shop teacher mounted the other 2 and balanced all 4. Now if I can stop dragging my feet on the engine O/H.

It's a Ford color! Acapulco Blue. Was going to be factory red but I wanted to include my wife and she saw this blue on a 67 Shelby. I shake pretty bad but still do ok with hammers and wrenches. Spreading Bondo is not so good. LOL. Going in for DBS surgery in FEB. Can't wait!
