Power...how much do I really need

I think this is great advice. I also went with a dedicated 200A panel. While I don't currently use all the power that's available to me, I don't think I will ever need more.

    Stumped (pun intended)!

You should be able to locate a dealer near you and get everything you need thru them.

    Air Supply Setup

I used 3/4 Rapid Air in my 40 X 60 shop. It works great and is very easy to install.

Anyone else use a ball joint press for this?

Not a bad idea. I use my air hammer to drive out and drive in, depending on clearance.

Bathroom In The Shop...Yes or No????

I have a full bathroom in my shop. I takes up very little space and when you gotta go, it's really nice. I hardly use it now, but my time is coming. My dad, who is approaching 70, does not have a shop bathroom. For 30 years he's been talking about putting one in. I don't think it'll happen...

Getting a milling machine off a trailer...

My dad and I used to rig all of our equipment. It was always nerve racking, but we managed to be successful. Today, I hire a crane service. I just watch, and if they drop the equipment, they deal w insurance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thoughts on a large Devilbiss air compressor build

Just throwing this out, would the height of the motor make any difference? Meaning that if you had both the pump shaft and motor shaft in the same plane. That would make the angle of the belt equal as it rolls on and off both sheaves.

    Propane heater in garage

Not too much to add, but I'll confirm with others that have posted that these heaters work good, but they are just too loud and create too much moisture for me. Vented propane heat is the cat's meow IMHO.

Lagun Mill, anyone know anything about these?

Like others have said, Lagun is a great quality machine. We still have three in our shop. The one you have pictured probably needs to be scrapped or maybe parted out. $1500 is too much.

    Drill Bit vs Steel

Hardened tool steel close to 60RC is tough to cut. You could torch anneal the edge of the hole, and use a tapered bridge reamer to open the hole up... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FCNS3Y4/?tag=atomicindus08-20
