Crusty. Do you have any updates on the performance of the 3 in 1? Any pictures of pieces you've made? I am looking at one of these to help fabricate patch panels.
I friend recently scrapped a sail boat. Told him I could help get rid of the keel, he had no way to pick it up or move it. 900# brought me $90 but it did take some work.
Reminds me of my high school days helping a neighbor break in boat motors before we lugged them back down the docks and into the boat. We would run them on their oil pans with a fuel line to an open topped coffee can, open exhaust, and heat exchangers feed through a hose running into a trash...
I currently use a thirteen year out Craftsman 33 gallon that has served its purpose over the years and surprisingly continues to run well but loud. The problem is that 5 SCFM is a pain to work with most of the time. The IR doubles the volume and more than triples the output to 18 SCFM for $749...
I guess I really need a carport to help fight back the summer sun. Anyone have a good idea for temporary shade. I've looked at the 10x10 instant canopies but have always ruled them out as being too small to be much help.

When its hot out I wear them to keep from burning my hands while working on aircraft. Like many I use to never wear gloves but in recent years I have learned to appriciate their qualities.
For a temporary solution I once used one of the 10x20 tents. Much to my surprise it survived the year that I was gone with little attention from my wife. I modified the frame with through bolts to keep it in one piece and then added some grommets which I used to lace a 1/2 rope through to...
Brings back memories. I sure do miss the structure I built at my last home. The space was really nice. I now have a detached 24 x 30 with an 8 foot ceiling and a 7 x 18 door. I keep thinking I need to add another 20 feet or so but my other half would have my head if I don't install a pool first...
lawfarm, You got it. Four banger, stick, regular cab. The one comment he made that was funny, "this must be old...there are handles to make the window go up and down." He was shocked when I told him it is newer than my Sunday driver.
