Great finds. I might be interested in some of the Bell System items. The vise grips were most likely modified for crimping some kind of splice.

Sorry for your loss Jake! Wow i didn't know i posted that much on this thread! Sorry i haven't been posting lately i havn't been hitting that many sales. My garage is full of tools that i had to stop for awhile. I have been buying on craigslist from time to time! I will try to get some posts up this month! I would be happy to host the 2017 garage sale thread if anyone wants me to!

Today's treasures......
Can anyone identify the red wrench?
There are no makers marks just "made in USA"
Bell System vise-grips....Anyone (jeff moss?) know how these were used?
The klein tool cable splitter w/sheath is marked "Bell System" on the blade (more on that in another post) and a Nicopress sleeve crimping tool.
Dracon AT8762 punch down tool and a Craftsman USA segmented pliers.
Stanley push drill (it's not marked Bell Systems) a Benner-Nawman UP-B41 8" Cable Clean Cutter (old style) and a Plastic Process EN-5 nippers.
Best find of the day!!.....Snap-on AD6 adjustable wrench for a
Also the little red Enderes Tool 2 in 1 stubby screwdriver (no close-up pic)
.

Looks like these. One of them says "Ace Stores"![]()

If you think that one's odd - you should see this one I saved today!
Pic 1: all for $7
Xcelite screwdriver with exchangeable bit, Craftsman Phillips, Italian scissors, welding hammer, DOE wrench by Controlled Steel, two early Craftsman sockets, and two "RAY" marked square nut sockets made by Packer Auto.
Pic 2-5: $5 for the wrench
A very interested adjustable wrench, size is adjusted by turning the hex-shaped handle, which moves the jaw in or out. Only markings on it, on one side "Hibernia" and the clover leaf indicating manufacture at Hibernia Tool Works, other side is "Wm. Marples & Sons, Sheffield". I looked online and I can't find ANY pics of a similar wrench. Probably turn of last century. Worth a Lincoln!
... the gas nozzle is for an old jeep can...
Dave, that's a Spark Plug and Cylinder Head Wrench common to Ford vehicles of the 1930's. Also found in the toolkit on the limited production Ford GP that went up against the Willys MA in 1941 before the Willys MB was selected....and oddball Ford wrench

I'd have told them to either cough up the dolly or forget it. What they were offering isn't what you bid on.
