More on the
LEFT-BEHIND front...
Yes, that is a J.P. Danielson BET'R GRIP adjustable wrench in this bucket, but sometimes you just gotta say NO.
In the same category of showing my restraint was this faux-wood finish toolbox. I was surprised it had a nice script Herbrand on the handle. I can't even imagine what one would put in here. It is made of tin and plastic. Toy tools? Or was there really a time (60's?) when they sold these meant for actual tools?
Finally, a quick funny story. This is the way things go around here sometimes. I saw this box on Thursday. Homemade I think, but I kinda liked the look.
'How much?' I ask the vendor. 'Oh, sorry, that's sold,' he replied. 'Dang,' I said. 'How much did you sell it for if you don't mind me asking?' '$15' he said.
On Friday I saw it again at a different flea market being sold by a well-known antiques guy in these parts. 'How much?' I asked. 'It's yours for $40,' he said. [emoji38] I guess that's the mark-up for putting it in your van, driving it across the state, and pulling it out of your van the next day!
