The green handled Adjustables often go for silly $$ on Eprey...
Damn Don. Those NOS green handles go for stupid money on the bay. You should be able to do well.We found a NOS Diamond gold mine at a Berkeley estate sale this morning. We didn’t grab it all but I think we will be able to recoup our investment with just the adjustable wrenches. My wife spotted the S-K tools. The other two sales only produced a couple of pieces each.

Stop #3 had the Starrett Calipers, Proto #2 Philips (Far less common than blade drivers IMO) the two MAC specialty pliers, and the Jar (destined to become a wood wick candle) Everything there was 25C each!

Picked up these vise grips at an estate this morning for 2 dollars. First time I ever seen one like this. Has three different places for a ball head mount. Paperwork is dated 1978. Everything came in the original box, doesn't look like they were ever used. Original Dewitt Petersen model 7CR.
Rickster!
YOU’RE the guy with the bins of tools strapped to cardboard, all priced out?
MrsLS and I have independently admired your no nonsense, no mistakes system!
(ALL: it’s like flipping through LPs at a used record store.)
I’ll have to introduce myself next time our paths cross.
Love it!picked up this 18”x22”x32” cast iron table which has a 1” thick steel top.
Nice speciality stuff. I see some PWA and a couple other oddities.
If you are you are preaching to the choir. Leave no stone unturned.Didn't see any sales that looked particularly good, but went to one anyhow just for kicks. Does that make me an addict?? I couldn't resist the carbide light - I even have a couple of cans of carbide sitting around. It's missing its flint, but I expect it's the same as cig lighters - easy to find. Don't know what brand the wrenches are, but they're US made, look sturdy. The vise has a real vintage look to it - anyone know about how old it is? Stanley still makes a vise like this, but it's pretty different looking. Nine bux for all.
Bob the 700 was made in may variants and that was just Stanley. Other companies made similar designs, some of steel some of aluminum some similar to yours some that has a more structural iron look. Champion was one of those. I have at least three of this style.
I like the carbide lamp. I wish I could find some carbide cheap...
Jack the lug wrench is interesting, better pics? is that a crank handle?
the bronze tools are always interesting! I've no seen a crowfoot before...

It's a conduit wrench. I have a few. I have a bunch of Jo Mfg tools. Instead of model numbers, they named all their tools, starting with Jo. There's the Joar, Jote, Joda, etc. All different tools. Bigtime aircraft tools supplier during WWII and after. If you really want to have some fun, we have a thread on Jo down on the Vintage board,, and it attracted a grandson of the owner, who used to work there in the 60's as a teen. His father is still alive and he has shared a lot of stories and info. Link here.Guy at the store told me it was from an aircraft mechanic that passed away. No idea how old it all is or brands...[ ]... Does anyone know what the Joar tool is for?
