-needle scratch-There was a nice Bonney top box...

Me too, BB, but Steve's breath isn't Smaug-like bad - so I gave him an M1A1 with 50-foot effective range!I pictured this....

Lol. Hope to. Open to ideasPelletman, nice collection of saws there.
You're building a cast iron fence? This I have to see...
Mike
Don't know about the ratchet, but the end mill's probably a $25 item on Ebay. Some other brand end mills are being offered for a lot more.....

Your dad, your keepsake, but man that would look great all spiffed up on a mantle! It's a terrific raised logo. Conversation piece.Tahlen "NO-BOUNCE" hammer
I pulled a few more tools out of the mini -stash I brought back from Dad's garage last weekend.
Tahlen "NO-BOUNCE" hammer.
Dang, I just looked up what these are going for on Ebay! All the ones on there are in better shape than this on, but I'll definitely treat it better than I might have otherwise...

...yesterday I visited the dragon hoard of tools owned by Tin Medic and traded my recent Snap-on finds for a generous load of J.H. Williams. Thanks TM!
Picturing Steve sprawled out on top of a massive pile of tools with a WWII-era flamethrower at the ready.
Since we don't have a B.S.A. tools thread, here is that signal mirror...
I'd love to see close-ups of these, Duddly, especially all markings, when they're cleaned up.

The hatchet is old and rare. Germantown is a section of Philadelphia settled by Germans, as you might expect. GTW was small, and GTW tools are uncommon (and those marked only Germantown, pre logo, even rarer), even right here (I've only found a couple hammers), and I'm even more surprised you found that in the PNW.
SORRY!! about my tip on Evapo-Rust item 303724279992 ebay. The listing has been removed by 'bay
I bookmarked that seller thinking when I used up my current supply of Evapo-Rust, here was an alternative seller other than Wally World. Interestingly enough, he's still listed as a seller but ALL of his items have been taken down. Seeing that he's located in another country, you are probably right about the items being a scam....$30 for everything but the Trenton 100# anvil. That was reasonable, but not THAT reasonable

Last time I went to Tractor Supply I was extremely happy to only pay $16 per gallon, the lowest I have ever paid.
It's still selling for the prime day price of $13.58 on amazon. Currently has a 2-4 week shipping delay but usually amazon ships faster.

Nice neighborhood. I'm trying to think of what school is up there. Drexel Med? Thomas Jefferson? Chestnut Hill, but no postgrad work there.Small world but I lived in Germantown/East Falls for 4 years while in grad school overlooking Wissahickon Park.
