I wish my ugly section of the shed only looked as bad as yours, you have a couple of cool little items hanging from the roof as well. Keep up the good work.

However, your shed doesn't have any ugliness either Lee, it's got sooooo much cool stuff in it.
Looks pretty organised to me! As long as you can still work in there I don't see the problem![]()
We have no doubt that you will keep on improving all your areas! I am really looking forwar to seeing what you come up with for the woodworking shed!
1/2 Cup
Your bench looks great and not too cluttered with plenty of peg hook room.
Those odd lengths of wood are always difficult to deal with.
I was just telling Nicola last night about how tidy your place was...... Now I see this !!!
If I showed her your Untidy spaces, she would never let me live it down.
Some of my surfaces are a mess, but I can usually tell you, or go into my garage and fetch stuff in the pitch dark without dismembering or impaling myself, so it is a weird kind of "organised"
I suspect you know pretty much where every piece of inventory is in your shed and around it.
Nothing I saw was ugly. We all need supplies of this and that and we have to keep them dry. Sometimes, and I may be one of the worst, we think a shop has to be neat straight and clean. (OK--I am one of the worst). Lets make a New Year Resolution to stop being so "neat freaky". I will go first with some "dirty mess" photos on my thread.
Your shop is super great 1/2 Cup and I would love having that much room and storage space!!
Best Regards
Herb
So you don't feel bad. Here's my garage as it sits now.
Area was clean this yesterday until son went golfing today and got all my clubs down from attic.
I also had this bench some what clean until I decided to strip the Reed and Prentiss down for paint.
I have had this area with bed frames and stuff that needs to be put away.
I still have Christmas stuff to put in attic and material from today's project. Plus wife prized staghorn hanging from ceiling cause of cold snap other day.
With my inlaws moving a havnt had both my cars on my garage in say 2 months. LOL
Have a good one Gerard
...Problem is I can't swing a cat....

Cat swinging is a bit over-rated anyway.
When we replaced our dishwasher, I fought my inner hoarder and took it straight to the tip - a couple of days later I realized that it would have made an excellent parts washer (it worked, it just didn't switch off the heating element - you had to turn it off at the wall socket).![]()

Thanks nine and cup. Sorry if hijacked your thread.
:Whats a noggin?
How will new britches help solve your clutter issue?:
Sounds like a good plan.

All that organization getting the better of you?
Looking forward to seeing the shop sans ugliness.

I get nervous. There you go again, putting us all to shame.

1/2 cup.... can you recommend a drill press? Keep looking around but not finding anything that is inspiring me to part with my $$$$
Funny you should mention Waldon.. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/swan-view/power-tools/brobo-waldown-drill-press/1066257963 $420... its a benchmount... though that isnt too much of a negative.
I'd love a gear drive unit from H&F....
But I'm guess this is more likely http://www.machineryhouse.com.au/D152 @ $825
