Ok, please clue me in. What's the mesh for and what's it made out of?

looking good so far!
looks like progress!
That's a lot of up and down a ladder.
Makes me tired just looking at it.
Going to look nice with the house.
looks great so far 1/2 cup.
great work! Looks like you've made really good progress. We've been fertilising our paddocks over the last couple of days, pretty unpleasant in high 30s weather with the smell and flys associated with chook manure! It was meant to rain this afternoon, but it's still hot and sunny at this point. Hope the forecast rain for tomorrow comes through.
looking half cupped! It it is cool how you designed it you should be proud, it is aesthetically pleasing and functional.
looking great 1/2 cup!

1/2: nice work on your bumper. i hit a neighbors dog (or he actually hit me) at 6 am on my way home after dropping my son off as his swim practice. dog was fine and i thought i needed a new bumper because it looked horrible. then i heard about the heat gun treatment and it popped right back in place and only needed a touch up paint on the scratch where it bent. my son bumped into something and was pretty sad his nice car had a ding in it so i handed him the heat gun and told him how to fix it and he managed nicely and had a big grin on his face when he handed it back to me.
i didn't see you build all that framework for your carport yet, but i'm sure i will and just wanted to say it looks amazing.
congrats on being born into Australian royalty by the way since your Auntie is on a short list of award winners.
winning an Order of Australia Medal is the closest thing I will get to Royalty I can assure you.I wonder what a Panel Shop would have charged to fix that ?
Have a great Australia Day Holiday. Like most Aussies a cold beer a BBQ and time in the shed.
Time to sit back and have another
Sadly both the Hills Hoist and the Victa are now made in China![]()
and VB is owned by some Foreign company. At least we can say they are all Aussie created.
Also heard today called Invasion Day but then how different would this place be if it was say first settled by the Dutch, Portuguese or even the Chinese or Japanese ?
Would we have the way of life we have ? Would we have the Shed as part of the Aussie terminology and the way of life ?

"chuckn a snag" - Translation please.
Sounds like something I'd like, but want to make sure.
Hoping that VB was grabbed out of the Esky (loaded with ice) 1/2 Cup!
That reminds me, I should wash out my eskys before I put them away...
As for twisting the Queens English, I had an American at a trade show ask me if I spoke English - I replied "You first"; he didn't see the funny side to that...
Carport is coming along too. Anymore done today?

Good progress, and nice work on the gutter brackets!
Keep up the good work!

The roof is looking great 1/2 cup, at first it looked like you where putting a cream strip in between each sheet join from the pics.
Carport is looking good ..
Those containers are pretty good for the price ... but the lids don't provide an airtight seal.
... so your smoko bikkies ... will go stale if you use one for them ..
Keep an eye on various suppliers - as they get discounted quite often.
Ive got a bunch of the 5l ones and the 2.5l ones.
Thanks Lee, it must be just the lighting in the first shot that makes appear that way.

Hi
I was wondering what the strips were
But they were gone in the second picture, it is looking good Steve
Cheers
Steve
1/2 Cup
Just fantastic work on the carport. It compliments your home nicely!! Great Job! Also that fence is winner. Everything should last for another few centuries!!!
Best Regards
Herb
The before wasn't that bad, but great job making it better!

Nicely done. [emoji106]
Top job 1/2 Cup.
The before wasn't that bad, but great job making it better!
I would be a very happy camper if mine looked half as good as the "before" shot.
The boxes look great 1/2cup.![]()
Nice job organizing that bench. Now that the top is all cleaned up with lots of space it's ready for a new project!!!

Note to file don't store new tubes of gutter sealant any longer than a couple of years, like most things it has a use by date. Purchase what you need when you need it.
Have a great weekend...
I have that issue as well. Problem is I find I need them on a Sunday and no one is open.
I predict you will fall backthis weekend. It is warm enough here now.
1/2: i still haven't had time to read through your entire thread so just trying to keep up with the last couple weeks is amazing from what I've seen. i usually don't see carports built so stout and probably because of the winds you keep talking about. sorry to hear you couldn't get the roof up because of the winds and sounds like it might have been a little too windy when you did do it. congrats on getting it done. it looks fantastic.
nice job on the shop and I've had my shop like that at times, but it's a constant battle not to stack stuff on the bench and even in front of the bench so i can't get to it. sadly it's that way now, but a few dry days and hopefully that will change for me too.
your bench looks awesome and nice comment about saving your son or your wife from having to sell all your extra tools. i couldn't imagine me passing tomorrow and having my family wondering what to do with all that i have so thanks for putting that little nugget in my brain.
cheers and keep up the great work
Just catching up on the last few pages, 1/2 Cup. Had the flu and pneumonia last week and am now two weeks behind on most everything. Carport is looking great as is your usual organizational work in the shed. I wish my clutter was as neat as yours, haha. Great work. Very nice day here for the middle of winter, 83 F.
