Congratulations! Aiden, Amy and Andrew eh? Must be confusing when they get mail addressed to "A Surname"?
Very good news.

1/2: congrats on Aiden Robert's arrival and sounds like little brother might have a fighting chance with an older brother in his house. mom delivering a 9 pound baby must be a bit sore so good to hear she is doing ok too. WELL DONE and congrats to your kids.

Congratulations to you all.
I can't wait for my first to arrive, although I hope it is not late like this one as the due date is just 3 days after my birthday, 3 days early would be good![]()
Congrats on the baby boy!
1/2 Cup,
Congratulations on the addition to your family!

Adding my congrats to the list 1/2Cup. He looks like a healthy little guy. You and your family are blessed.
I want a job with 1/2Cup.
Plasma Metal cutting tools, Drones to fly and a weeks leave when you become a Grandpa.
HotFr8: i do to, but i'm guessing he's paid his dues.
1/2: we are all jealous about your job, but maybe more so that you have another Shed mate to keep you young as you get NOT SO YOUNG.
he's a looker and looks like a proud dad too.
cheers and enjoy your week maybe just holding #3 and playing with #1.
Congratulations Grandpa 1-1/2!
Good things seem to come in threes!
And congratulations to the family too!![]()

Lyndon's not the only one late to the party. Well be proud Grampa. Congratulations all the way around as Grizz said. Now go enjoy your week off and newest addition to your Church family.
Looks like I'm late too!
Congratulations Steve
Well I guess you know I'm late. Congratulations Steve! Having just had my first great grand I can tell you that the joy never ends. So happy also with every story I hear about someone that honors their family history. I was mostly raised by my grandmother and learned to see the wisdom in that. I hope none of your family was anywhere near the earth quake area. Best wishes. Bobby
I'm not sure how I missed this... congrats.
You are now Grand Cup.![]()

HOTFR8, we do have a couple of positions in our team being advertised shortly..
. Electrician.
. Electrical Supervisor.
. Radio tech.
. A couple of Graduate Engineer positions as well..

Does having a Seniors Card now qualify me for that??![]()

I always wanted to do Engineering.
So you are a card carrier.
Make the most of the week off.
Congratulations Stephen to all of your family, from another grandfather with 3 grandsons that are just a bit older.
I missed your post yesterday by about 6 minutes, logged on still no news on the new grandson, and then 6 minutes later you posted the great news.
On another note you have broken a major milestone and you may not even know it, in the "Garage Gallery" overall replies thread count you are currently the second highest.
Whilst I feel that Thomas's thread is undoubtedly the ultimate thread here, its great to be number 2.
cheers
What a great time to get through this entire thread..
Congratulations on the new addition to the family!
its been an adventure reading all about your shed down under these past few days.
Looking forward to the future.

1/2 Cup, your cup RUNNETH OVER!
A belated congrats from Canada eh!
Wishing you the best and to enjoy your week off that will be far far far too short!
Cheers!![]()
yeah, I have been soaking up quite a few of the longer threads, yours, Quaker road, BB767, sakurama, HD FLHX, Red Jess and the Scooter garage etc..
its been an elightening journey for sure..
this past weekend, I cleaned out the gutters on my 28x32 detached pole barn. I think I removed a half a dozen trees from the buildup... oops. oh well, gotta start somewhere.
Thanks for the welcome!

All,
Now that the dust has settled with young Aiden's birth..
Its time to get moving on the West Wings out doors and garden. First cab off the rank is the decking.
No hand rail, no steps and in need of a good clean and oil up..
It looks pretty below par.

Á trip to our big box store Bunnings yesterday morning I picked up some powder coated modular aluminium fencing and a set of treated pine steps and four hours later..

They had some solar post top lights which add a little character.
Still a work in progress...
Have a great day...![]()
I'd come get it but sometimes it seems like we live half a world away. Would it be much trouble for you to post it to me?1/2 Nice job on the handrails! Looks real pretty, above par. But I think you wasted your money on the steps, they hardly show up at all.
And I think I found my missing DeWalt screw gun, I see it there on the ground.I'd come get it but sometimes it seems like we live half a world away. Would it be much trouble for you to post it to me?

rmalkow, thank you
That safety aspect is what prompted us to do it, its 18" up and had no step.
An accident waiting to happen..
Regards

And 18" down, and still no step
Love that baby for us!![]()

Three steps up, three steps down, no wonder you never make any progress![]()

No one can compete with andy's wit
Congrats 1/2 cup on the new addition to your family. Having a little one around sure changes how we look at things.
Don
