I am doing pretty good at the moment and getting stronger and less fatigued every day now I am sure those prayers are being answered:thumbup:

I have been working on getting things in order in the shed to actually be able to work a little more comfortably not that it was tooooo bad in any case and thats working well.

I see you have scored some nice flat files.:thumbup:

Great news Steve. Sarah wanted me to tell you she was praying for you also. She has been very moved by the fact you would have time to pray for her when you are going through so much. She was feeling pretty down when I spoke with her a few days ago and I used your fighting spirit as an example. I am proud to say her response was not more self pity but instead to say; tell him I will pray for him. A few years ago I would never have believed I would live to see her grow this far so fast; good examples are never recognized if they are too close. Building courage just may be your finest hour. Keep up the good work! Bobby

1/2: I have to say I don't think i'd turn down a ride in your MODEL A if I get the chance after you get it road worthy.

keep your chin up as you always do and keep smiling and maybe the good LORD will smile back and get you back up and running as good as new soon.

I was looking your direction from my back door Saturday evening (yep real Saturday) and saw a glow from down under so had to take a pic.

cheers

Looks like some well trained boys to keep the lawns and garden in perfect shape. I hope grandpa has taught them the fine art of lawn edging and how to properly measure with the calipers.

Thanks all for the comments on the videos, dad gets a giggle out of them that's for sure.
Dad is locked up for his regular service, I dare say he shall provide details when he gets the chance. In the meantime thanks all for your warm wishes and prayers.

I must say there has been a new addition to he shed downunder but I'll let dad disclose the details.

Regards and thanks Andrew Church

I can say he is in good spirit and keen to get home to the Shed Down Under.

Dan many thanks :thumbup::thumbup:
I will get there one way or another.

Glad to hear you are less fatigued! Some QST may be the best medicine

BF QST will be the best medicine for sure.:thumbup:

All eight days in hospital now and I should be out by the weekend not that I was expecting to be in that long but I got over that pretty quickly, relenting to see the treatment to the end even though Day Leave was an option in the last day or so but due to the risk of more infection , having to carry a supplementary Oxygen supply with me and eight hourly IV infusions I decided to stay.
Lots of NEW Heavy duty Anti Biotics and steroids which are working well at this point in time.
Although I have not responded as I would ordinarily do I am truly humbled
I sincerely have to thank you one an all for your prayers, thoughts and kind words:bowdown:

Man you are toughing it out there.

I don’t think most of us really have a clue.

Look after yourself and keep getting better.

In my thought, a lot.

It is an absolutely fascinating age that the grand kids are at now and we are loving every minute of it.:thumbup:

"I am doing better every day and feeling somewhat normal now."

Great words to hear, it's a long road. We'll be with you.

Andy every day I am seeing improvement, that said I have to take thing really easy and rest as much as I can. You are right it is a long road.

Was great to have a chat and catch up.

I guess you will be but then you know your own limits.

HOTFR8 knowing my limits is key to a smooth recovery and that has been spelt out to me by all and sundry..

All finally I am out of hospital and it is nice to be home at last. There will not be a lot of QST just yet until I am a little bit stronger however this is a step in the right direction.

All Back to the shed now, prior to me having to go to hospital I had brought a few bits and pieces that were on sale.

First up was a new replacement for my old bench drill.

A pry bar set and some lathe tooling.

More bits and pieces.

A magnetic based dimmable 14 Watt LED for over the lathe. This works a treat.

A little shed time is great therapy!

Tooling looking good. Understandable you're sick over not using your new lathe.

Do you have hole gauges?

Andy absolutely..:thumbup::thumbup:

I would really like to be able to get stuck into things in the shed now but I just have to have a little patience as I don't want to go backwards at all.

I do have hole gauges and some not to bad measuring gear that I have had for a few years now.
