My heart says yes....my wallet says otherwise 🤣. I'm just kidding in good fun, I'm glad she has a sport to call her "own". She's tries soccer and some things and while they are fun she's never really fully invested. With horses she's totally in her little world.
You keep it up B, it’s worth every penny. We raised our kids with interests that kept them entertained, occupied and provided solid values. As a result we weren’t grandparents in their teens and both kids have kept their noses clean. Now our daughter has 4 little ones and she's raising them in like fashion - we couldn't be prouder of her.

How's the ride in the -450 without a load?

It's actually not bad at all! I have 6 Costco tubs, a sheet of plywood (was the easiest way to make sure the lids don't fly of haha) and two spare trailer tires for the way back to IN after I pick up the trailer. So maybe couple hundred pounds, not anything to brag about. I think it rides great. Totally honest, it's not a midnight and day difference as I was expecting. I think a part of it is also the fact that the Ford seats are way more comfortable.

I'm getting some bump steer and little wiggles over certain conditions. I need to crawl under there when I get to PHX. I dont remember seeing a steering stabilizer, I don't know why it would have been removed but that would certainly account for some. I do know some guys run without them as long as your alignment is dead dialed in, but it should have one if you ask me.

That’s exciting stuff B. That final load was such a huge relief for me. I’ll admit it took a few minutes to put the truck in drive but boy did it feel great when I did 😁

I’ve been that hot before, 140 degrees and 100% humidity, working inside the condenser of Unit 2 @ Navajo Generating Station while it was still online making electricity! Middle of the summer and the Phoenix A/C had to be on! Good thing I was 22 years old and they drug us out after 5 minutes inside that sweat box. We’d work for 5 minutes and then cool off for 10, then back inside. Never been that hot again. Good for your complexion though, the beautiful people pay big bucks to sweat like that! Be careful in there, that heat can sneak up on ya!

So you stick around at the soon to be former place for a bit of R&R...and you end up in a neighbors attic that is hot enough to double as a warming oven for a kitchen.....you got a strange idea of R&R!

As the famous Letterkenny Wayne would say: "when a friend asks for help....."

So.....did you find the problem?

There is a mini breaker up in the attic inside the unit that was tripped. It wouldn't reset as I think the ambient temp was just physical to hot causing issues. I'm on my way back now, hopefully the attic cooled off enough overnight where that breaker will play nice 🤞

Stupid place to put AC, like putting it inside a furnace. Furnace/AC really should be in conditioned space, but that's the way we've always done it!

I agree, however a lot of these older pitched roof houses just shoved everything up in the attic. I told him he really needs to spray foam the bottom of his roof deck. Would help tremendously.

Well. Won't be checking for any Amazon deals.

Stuck in Phoenix waiting on tires. Can anyone do me some Google foo and see if you can find these any cheaper than $574 per so that when I get them mounted tomorrow discount will price match. All I need is a screen shot so a link if you see them cheap. 😡😕

Dare I ask what happened to the tires....that truck can't have more than 3k miles on it???

I'm owner 2. It's got 18k on it now. It either came with and or I picked up 2 nails somewhere in my travels. 1 in an rear inner and 1 in a steer tire. So I'm replacing the 1 rear and both steer tires just so they match, 3 tires total right now.

3 tires turned into 6 this morning. Found a rear outer that the freight company F*#$@ up when they delivered it to my. It was too wide for his auto trailer and he drove down the outer edge angle iron all the way off the trailer. I didn't think of it at the time but found this last night. So I'm dumping all of these. This goes alllll the way around the whole tire.

I’m just saying 🤔

That ***** bud. I hope you get this resolved asap n get out of here.

🤞 Tires will be here in a bit. They are having a courier bring them from the warehouse and I can hopefully get out of here tonight.

Sorry, still 371 miles until we need fuel so your gonna have to wait.......

Sounds like some one has extra capacity tanks! Parents used to have a truck in the 80's with big dual tanks and propane conversion kit with the tank in the back...flip between while cruising down the interstate and 700 mile range. I ruined their ability to use that range by about 2 yrs old

But, but, but you said we had to stop licking the windows.

Fine!, let’s pay a game

I spy with my little eye…..

I can't sleep Dad, can you make it less bumpy

Man you guys are spot on with your road trip game. I made it home and I want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for "acting like a bunch of kids" and ruining the only 27 hours of my life I have had peace and quiet 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Grow up sheesh 🤣
