I take it that G was holding the camera? He needs a lesson on what the GJ members want to look at. And it's inside that building, not Shorty's legs.:D

G is in back f the truck, I took the picture. I was trying to focus on the wrapped up cargo, defintley not thier mugs.:lol_hitti
It just looked kinda shady swapping all this stuff at 10:00 PM in the parking lot.

Yes G should of really been taking care of his members by lining up the beauties to take pictures with us.

Better bring a 40 footer. :lol_hitti ...and drop of the Lista's on your way back to Kentucky.

Nah... I wouldn't have anything worthy to put in them! Though one or three of those vises could sneak their way back to KY. :D

I will just wait until he moves to KY. I live about an hour east of his new shop. When he gets tired of all that fancy stuff, and puts it up for sale, I will be ready!

I looked at the picture several times and if y'all's "Hooters" has golden arches, which is all I see, I am glad you DIDN'T take any pics from inside.

It's there, just to the right some, trust me, we were there. I still have images in my mind.

I was wondering if I was going to have to invite you up next time you are at your place in KY. Hell, let me know when you are coming and we can try to meet up somewhere if you would like it. Not sure where your place is, but there is a Hooters without arches not too far from my house.

The only way I'll be tired of all that stuff is when I'll reside in a little box or can on a shelf ( or more fittingly, in one of my Vidmars) until they figuire out what to do with me:lol_hitti:lol_hitti.

Kenny, I'm about a hour south of Frankfort .

I'll have to let you know next time we're up, no yellow arches for sure:beer:
Only thing I go to the arches for is iced tea and bathroom breaks.

Sounds good Craig. We are about an hour west of Frankfort. Have several favorite places to eat in Frankfort. Only problem is having to drive past the damn outlet mall if my wife is with me.

I hear ya about the arches. I had two small jobs last Saturday and got a chicken biscuit between them at the arches. Best I can say is that it was a right turn in and a right turn out.

The thick block on the back is tapped for 5/16" bolts to be used for attaching the shovel to mount.

Here it is on frame. The shovel is part of the prop and will be used to pull headstones around the ice rink. The headstones and shovel will be removable for transporting.

I think the horse is just checking to see what you are doing in her old house.

Almost done with headstone project. I mounted the shovel mount to the PVC using 3/4" conduit clips.
eb38d3ad9c7d2274a92442debcdb6a01.jpg
I had to make the shovel mount where she could just slide it in so the bolt holes would automatically line up, as both will be covered with a "dirt" mound. I used a couple of angles, edges sanded down to be right on shovel.
50de663dd34f5cbfe8f0e6822d059e9c.jpg
My aluminum mig welds are just off. Can't seem to get in the groove, it's been awhile.
Frame with mount in place.
cbd1f99386c2fc6dd98d11fc5e1def7a.jpg
2" foam base attached to pvc with deck screws. The PVC uprights are for the head stones to slide over.
5f228c1d7df6d128ad4d5e2d8cd7ba31.jpg
Here it is almost done, I just need to form the dirt mound with hardware cloth, shot some canned foam and wife will paint. She also will install the astro turf on base.

Some fun facts I've put together of my collection of Vidistas boxes. That's a cross of Vidmars and Listas. The first one I bought back in the mid 80's, the most recent in November.

They add up to a total of 25.75' long and 76 drawers. The average cost per drawer is $35.this drawer count is in addition to the 65 drawers of other misc. boxes in the shop.

I'm going to be going through each one tweaking, clean and lube the bearings, sanding down, primering and a top coat of Rustoleum.

Here's some photos, cause I know we can't function without them. Excuse the clutter, I don't have a class photo yet.

The latest.

That ice skating prop it looking pretty good!

That's a pretty ambitious project with the cabinet cleanup. Well worth the effort though, in my opinion.

Good luck!

It's going to be a project for sure, it'll be my Legacy.

I'm all geared up to paint, invested in a gravity feed gun with tips to handle the thicker Rustoleum, just need the time.

The ice skate prop turned out great, I don't have a picture as my wife finished it.

It worked grate on the ice, just as planned, except she didn't get to finish her practice routine. While just starting to practice, she had a tumble and sprained her ankle and tendon up her leg and missed the competition.:(
She'll use it in others, but we both were disappointed.
Thanks for stopping in.

Have her read the emojis to you someday for [emoji90]'s and giggles. My "adult" kids turned it into a fun drinking game.

So now when I ask for a contact, like Rob, she asks which Rob, I hit the one I want and nothing happens.

I don't do the Siri thing much. My son programmed my phone. I googled it and found this link.

http://www.iphonetricks.org/fun-with-siri-and-spoken-emoji-emoticons/

You have to have siri read your text when you get it rather than opening it.

Going to Frankfort with my wife tomorrow to spend a little time with her. Going to check out a few places there. Going to check out the pawn shops and kill a little time while she is in her meeting then see if I can find a Hooters.

Yep, been a while since anything real has happened.
Finished the ice skate prop for the wife, she took it on the maiden voyage on ice, started her routine and broke her ankle..

So I've had that taking time away, moms estate has heated up for me and work has been a *****. But it's all good.
Hoping to spend time this w/e and get some done. I've invested in some neat spray guns and supplies, so I'm ready there, just need the time.

Thanks for stopping by and checking on me.

Sorry to hear about your wife. This might be a good time to say all those things you never dare to say to her as she can't catch you if you're running away.:dunno:

Waiting to see the painting equipment in action...................Maybe you can give Gerard a tip or two.
