and.......
I got this for the price of lunch a few days ago, to replace a junky Canadian Tire 8 gallon that lasted a couple years.
It's a Westeel Rosco. From what it says on the plate, it was built in Canada in 1976. One horse Franklin motor (115/230volt), and a twin piston pump that's good up to 120psi. The tank was changed at some point in it's life, and it takes a good 15 minutes to pump up to max when I plugged it in. I'd guess it's about 20 gallons. I've changed the oil in it (only had 5w-30 kicking around).
It's not the nicest, but it was made here, every piece of it, and it was cheap! Should be enough for tires, and hopefully my impact. I might take the head off and check it out. Does anyone know if repair kits or parts are available? I'm sure it was probably built by another company and rebadged by Westeel, as they basically make silos to my knowledge.
I guess that's a lot of words for a tired old little compressor, but there ya have it.
