Here's my new addition. I was going to build a compressor for my shop and already had a nice heavy 60 gallon horizontal tank and a Webster 5hp compressor pump and near new Baldor 5hp farm duty motor I got real cheap.
Then as luck would have it I stumbled onto this. It's an 80 gallon vertical tank Techquip compressor. It has an Italian Chinook K-30 pump (Same as a Rolair K-30) and had a 5HP 3 phase motor on it when I picked it up. Got it for $300. He had it listed for $350 and I would have gladly paid it but tried an offer to see what he'd say and he said sure.
I apparently called after it was listed for 3 minutes. He had 30 calls after me and I was only 15-20 minutes getting to his place to pick it up.
I sold the 3 phase pump for $100 and am going to use my near new Baldor single phase 5HP motor on it. Already got the tank mounted and connected and the pump is now mounted (no pictures of that). Just need to install my new capacitors in my motor (so I know they are new) and add the magnetic starter I picked up, fill it with oil and I'm good to go. Made a nice vibration damper platform as well. This also doubles to allow my Kaeser auto drain to fit underneath.
I had to buy a new intake gasket ($6) that he told me it needed and an oil breather (my bad on that one

. Broke it carrying the pump to the garage from the truck...another $15). Considering these compressors up here run $1850+tx I think I scored pretty good.
