I'm pretty sure I have one these sitting in a box in my garage as a spare since it's USA made. I ordered one just so i could lock in the price as a precaution. Reviews seem to mention that the China made ones have better chrome quality. What do you guys prefer (not trying to start the china vs usa war)?

I have the made in usa and it works great, I haven't had any issues out of the sockets, just the fact they gave me 2 of one and left 3 more out! they did offer an exchange or 20% off to cover the sockets I would have to buy!

I got a set 1.5 years ago and it was USA. After seeing and handling the Chinese ones in the store, I'd say the finish on the chinese is superior. I would buy this set again and be happy with the chinese set.

At 1 buck per socket with a lifetime warranty. It's excellent value with easy replacement options.

No, they got smart. It use to go on sale for 300.00 and you could use that coupon. Now they put it on for 299.99 so you can't use it.

You have to force their hand with the live chat and they will honor the 35 off 300 sears coupon. I told them it was false advertising and this is what he said.......

I ordered a set myself, had to use Live Chat to get the $35 off coupon to work on my order. The first order timed out and said it wasn't completed (wasn't in the order history), the second order went through and I checked the order history and both were there. I was still on the line with the chat representative so he canceled the duplicate order. He couldn't apply the coupon and instead gave me a $35 credit.

There's a promo for $20 in Surprise Points for orders over $70 right now too, so I'll end up saving $55 all said and done.

I have my credit card set to email me when transactions over a certain threshold are made and I got three alerts this morning - I'll give it a couple days and make sure they didn't charge me three times. They canceled my duplicate order so I'm not sure what the third charge would be.

Curious if these are NOS USA or Chinesium. I thought towards the beginning of 2015, folks started getting Chinesium as the USA stock was all gone by that point. Post pics up when you get em, we're curious!

Both of mine shipped. I say "both" because evidently my order went through three times and they only canceled one of them. I noticed this when the second shipment confirmation came through. Web chat said I could refuse one or return it to the store to get a refund.

That's right. Coupons don't work on Hot Buy Items. However, be on the look out for Surprise Points (as these are equivalent to coupons), they work on Hot Buy items as well.

Got mine today and have them about half sorted. No COO marked anywhere so assuming China. They look good and are laser marked and etched so I'm happy with them.

This set is China now.

Sad, because this was the last big set you could get USA. I guess it was a slow mover and took a couple years to run out the USA stock. All China now though.
