Thanks for the link. I've been on the fence about picking one of these up, but for on $30 it's a no brainer.

Thanks! I reserved one at my local store for pickup. I've been wanting/begging Milwaukee to make one of these for the M12 platform. I think they'd be crazy handy for driving wood screws or sheetmetal screws in tight spots.

Would you guys say the protection plan is worth it? 10 bucks for 3 years I believe... correct me if I'm wrong

Tried to use the $5 off 25 with online order and it wouldn't take it. Decided to just go to the store and pricematch to see if they would give me the $5 off. Price in store was $69.99, with $10 off for Craftsman Club members. They price matched the $29.99, then when they added my Craftsman number it gave me the $10 off, so I got it for $19.99 :D

I ordered one of these for my dad as he uses the nextec tools and likes them. You can really justify it when just a single extra battery is $24.99 so for $5 more you get the tool and charger.

oh man. I don't need it, but Im tempted to pick it up at that price. I simply like the fact that its a right angle impact that can fit in tighter places.

If a protection plan costs more than 10% of the purchase price, I typically walk away... The odds that I would still be able to find the paperwork even 6 months down the road are slim to none...

But that's just me...

My wife (she meant well) bought me a Nextec Hammerhead a couple of years ago. I played with it and beat a couple nails into a board and then put it away and have not looked at it since. Now if the battery was compatible - I might just pick one of these up to augment my bigger Makita impact driver as I really like the right angle of this one...

Too cheap for me to pass on, so I have started the attempt to buy it. Soon I will know if Sears can keep me from doing it. ;)

BTW REALLY irks me that they make it just enough different to the Bosch that batteries aren't interchangeable.

Looks like deal runs through 6/3, no confirmation after a couple hours, but looks like I bought one, free shipping, $4 off syw, $2 Cal tax.

Odd it says free shipping and I get it tomorrow, ship to store 4 to 6 days.

I went ahead and got one. Strong enough to take most bolts off an engine.
Well worth the $30 for the tool, battery, charger and a case.
Also got $5 because the Store pickup took over 5 minutes.

I pulled the trigger on one. Used $4 in free shop your way points and got free shipping to my house. Was $27.78 with tax.. I hope the battery from the Hammerhead works in this one too..

Picked mine up before they closed yesterday for $17.31. The sales associate kept double checking to make sure the $29.99 price was right before she asked for approval. The manager came and had to check again for herself and said "wow, Looks like we are paying you to take it". I gave the sales associate my phone number and it dropped another $10 and I figured that I must have had some SYWR points and she said that it was a Craftsman club discount and proceeded to add my SYWR points on top of that. As I was leaving the manager called over another manager and almost sounded upset.

When I was in the parking lot I called my buddy and told him about the sale so he rushed over and picked one up for himself. As he was checking out the manager was making a big deal over it and the sales associate mentioned how much I had gotten it for with the discounts. The manager told her that she should have just applied the discount then price matched it back up to $29.99 because it was so cheap already. My buddy then mentioned that it was his friend that had just picked it up and the manager told him that the $29.99 price must have been a mistake and they are paying for us to take them. My buddy said "I don't understand why you are getting so upset. You act like were taking money out of your pocket". She just walked away. After he told me what happened we were thinking about going back and just buying the last 5 they had on the shelf. anyways... thnx OP. It was an awesome deal.

Darn, missed this one. Looks like its back up to $60. I wanted to grab a hold of it before buying and couldn't get to the store until today.

Maybe next time. It seems to get good reviews. Anyone used theirs yet and care to report?

Its great..i would say its worth the money even at $60-70. $30 is a steal!

They had them on a deal similar to this last year. I didnt get one since I already have a makita LXT impact driver and i really want the makita angle impact. I decided to get this year jsut for the few times i dont have room for the makita to fit since i couldnt justify the $170 cost of the makita angle impact driver.

It rocks. Its not quite as strong as my makita, but it was driving the screw head right through my 2x4 test piece. THe makita would blow the screw right through effortously, the craftsman labored a bit more and was slower, but it still felt it had power to spare.

Yeah, my Makita LXT Impact Driver will blow the tip to smitherines if I stall it on a tight screw, or it snaps the screw... :lol_hitti

Good to know that his little unit will perform.
I already have a couple projects in the queue where it will be used...:willy_nil

Got $5 in SYWR points with this order that let me apply to it. Not bad for $25.

Got that beat

Well decided to pick this up and funny story they had it for 59.99 in the store, well I obviously show them the online price and so they honor it, but get this I got an additional 10 off by mistake!!!! the original price at that store was suppose to include a 10$ off coupon lol, so I got this thing for 19.99:lol_hitti

oh and I got the three year protection plan for 5.00$ and before anybody says anything I got it because the plan also includes the battery!!!!!!!

Oh and with the plan they will replace it it for the first year and then years 2-3 they will refund my money!!!!! so If I take this back at anytime I get my money back no matter how many times I use it!!!!

I got mine today, was trying to check the status on the Sears site with no luck, and heard a thunk on my doorstep and there it was.

Impact
battery
30 min quick charger
zipper case
4 pc bits, one PH, three nut drivers.

Craftsman club is in my profile I wonder why no discount, or was that just some in store price match trick?

Haven't tested it yet, first impression is that is kinda big, larger than my Skil cordless ratchet, and the motor is noisy, feels like it has some torque.

Offer's still good at $29.99. I just ordered a few minutes ago and got it with free shipping too. I don't understand the free shipping on this, but not complaining!!!

Deal still hot for Craftsman club members. Don't know for how long. At this price I do think its a no brainer. Yes, you are buying into another battery platform but they are relatively cheap and that was the attraction for me. I have a few Makita 14.4 tools and they want an arm & a leg for a battery.
