This is becoming an addiction. Just ordered a third one for pickup after work tomorrow. Can't have too many batteries! Or, maybe I'll just gift it to my son. Or maybe I'll just put it in the stack of duplicate and triplicate tool inventory that's building up in one of my spare cabinets. SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!

It's not as fast as my PC 18v impact, but it requires a LOT less pushing to drive a screw, it's basically just enough pressure to keep the bit engaged. Very impressive, and now I have to order a 3rd, cause the wife just stole one of the ones I just got.

So in closing, if you have a 5' tall wife, who weights 93 pounds, and she wants to drive 3" drywall screws into 2x4's, get her this tool.

I happened across a power supply that is available for these batteries. You could charge your cell phone and other things with it. Couldn't find it on Sears site but there are several on eBay. Anybody have one?

Milwaukee's made one just like this for a long time. Has terrible reviews on Amazon, says takes forever to charge a cell phone, other complaints too. I was gonna get one for my M12 line until I read all the bad reviews.

does anybody own the flashlight? I'd like to pick that up?

Stopped by Sears and picked up my third and definitely last driver today and decided to check out the work light/flashlight in person while I was there. I thought I would really like it, but was surprised to find that it really didn't do much for me. The display models don't have batteries in them, so I couldn't see how much light it actually puts out, but the feel of it (though without battery) just seemed lightweight and kind of cheap to me. I may still pick one up with my next batch of free SYWR points, but I don't think I would bother getting it otherwise. Just my 2 cents and I may find that I actually like it once I have it. Who knows?

BTW, when ordering the driver online last night, my store showed only one driver in stock. While checking out the flashlight today in the store, they were setting up cardboard displays in the aisles with Fathers Day items, and they had quite a few of these driver sets on it. With the amount that I saw, it doesn't make sense why their online link is so "on and off" each day. But then maybe their just trying to ration them thru the Fathers Day weekend?

Dammit. Was interested but didn't have the funds, so was relieved it wasn't on sale anymore. Just clicked the link and came up for the $29.99 again. Had to get one since I need an electric impact at home (the Dewalt stays at the shop). Of course, this little impact would have made changing out hose clamps in a cramped engine compartment WAY easier today...

The led light and fluorescent light should be here either today or tomorrow. I can give you some better specifics when I can try them if you want to hold off till then.

LOL, I ordered both too. I think you'll have yours before me tho.

edit: reviews on the Sears site for the LED light are good. Dunno if Sears edits their reviews. Didn't look at reviews on the flo.

I have both lights. They are great. The florecent is my favorite. It has a magnet on it to stick it to things. Works great

Any idea on where to get replacement bulbs for the fluorescent light. The reason I ask is because I bought a Craftsman fluorescent light and cord reel set from deal of the day a couple weeks ago. Attempted to get replacement bulb on hand through Sears CS and Parts Direct. They sent me to the manufacturer to order them. Apparently Sears will sell you the light but offer no support for the bulbs except to transfer you to another company. :headscrat

Curious if the bulbs for these lights are available through Sears. Mine didn't come today so they should be here tomorrow.

I had an old Sears gift card so I bought the right angle driver and the 100pc accessory kit for my father's day gift to myself today. I think they will come in handy.:D

One is not really brighter than the other. They are different. I use the flo for more longer tasks that require a broader light. The led one I use for quick looks and inspections. I use the fluorescent a LOT more. It is very handy. Has a magnet on the back of it and a hook on top. One of the best tools in the line

I need an impact metric nut setter set for Craftsman Nextec 12V Right Angle Impact Driver. Which brand do you recommend? Craftsman and Dewalt do not make metric versions.

Note I already have 1/4" and 1/2" adapters.

To follow up on the power supply, it charges my phone 2 minutes faster than the wall charger using the USB port. Haven't tried the 12v socket yet. I'm happy with it.

I like the fluorescent light a lot. Still waiting on the LED to come in. Should be here Tuesday.

The right angle driver deal is still active.

I just grabbed one of those power adapters from Amazon. Looking forward to giving it a try. Wasn't sure about buying into yet another battery system, but for the price it's a steal.

Have a link for the power adapter?

This is a handy little tool.

I already own one but couldn't resist and bought 2. One as a spare and another for my father in law.

I'd be curious about the 12V port. I don't have any USB chargers for my phone but would like to be able to grab a car charger and charge my phone in the shop with this.

It gave the specs for the different charging ports in the manual. The 12v plug was double or a little over the output of the USB. I will try the 12v when I get home and also post the output specs from the manual.

There was a mistake in my post above about USB charging times. It was 12 minutes faster not 2. The phone was run completely down to the point of shutting off. It was plugged in with the phone still off and put on a timer until full charge was reached. I figured this method would give me the most accurate results since it removes a lot of variables.

Would be interested to know how battery condition is after charging phone, too. I guess the Nextec stuff is a little less precise with 3? colors like stoplights? It's not terribly scientific but might be interesting to know if it still shows, say, yellow after a charge or if it's near-dead at red.

The specs:

USB outlets are 5V / 1.5A / 7.5W per port. Can be used simultaneously.
12V outlet is 12V / 3A / 36W

The 12V outlet charged 7 minutes faster than the USB ports. The outlet doesn't like certain plugs though. Out of 3 different plugs there was one I had to play with a little to get it to constantly charge. Mostly likely the plugs fault and not the outlet.

After 1 charging it went from green to yellow and right before full charge it went to red. After unplugging it went back to yellow though. It states 2-3 full charges on a full battery. Ive heard that lithium batteries require a couple of charging cycles before reaching full power potential. Not sure if this is true or not. All charging times were gathered using a freshly charged battery for the power supply.

So I got my fluorescent light tonight. Wow, I'd say it's really nice. Bright enough you don't want to look directly at it or your eyes will flash. The hook seems handy and fairly sturdy (time will tell) and the magnets rock, much better than the magnets Milwaukee puts on the M12 lights.

I told you. I said it before in another post. This is the best cordless light I have EVER used
