Although it's oh so tempting, I'm trying to hold out another year to see if Ford introduces the 8-speed trans. A 5.0 Platinum with an 8-speed would be fantastic. I'd like to see what the (2016?) Raptor looks like too...

OMG, yes please. Would love to see a pic of that in your garage. Always enjoy seeing Jorgen's (RD CEO) pics of his Raptor sitting on RaceDeck.

Okay your garage is fantastic to say the least, but I just have to know if you ever do any work in there? It's so clean I'd feel guilty if I actually got it dirty. I aspire to a garage that clean, but every time I get everything cleaned up and put away the tools come out again and I start working on projects.

Looks great. I can appreciate having a slice of heaven so close to your house. I spend more time in my garage than in the house.

Question, and I've wondered this quite often when I read through builds here.....other than the looks, what is the purpose of the racedeck floors? That is one thing that I've never understood how it is even a product anyone would buy. But it does add a unique look, but to me seems more trouble than its worth.

Just thinking out loud.

Yep that is definitely on my to do list. Thanks for the link! Ideally I'd like to have three modes for it:

1) Automatic sequencer.
2) Individual switches so I can have any light(s) on/off
3) Function as a car parking assistant.

Still have to figure that one out - it'll be a rainy day project.

This would be ******* sweet. Green when the door opens, yellow when close to stopping point and red at stopping point. I think it would only work best if you constantly park in the garage every day though. And have it be able to be switched off this function for display.

Your garage is awesome man. I love the build and the race deck looks great.

Love the colors!

Those are some nice recent pics....

Thanks a lot! Always a work in progress... :)

The extent of my work are lifts/leveling kits installs, turbo & supercharger installs and oil changes. Most of the time it's just detailing. Pretty basic clean jobs so I don't have to work too hard to keep it looking nice!

I wish I had bought racedeck sooner. For me personally it's considerably less trouble than bare concrete and/or epoxy.

From my experiences:
Bare concrete - stains easily, dusty, hard to clean, ugly in general
Epoxy - takes days to apply, slippery when wet, chips, difficult to get a perfect, even coat (specifically when clear-coating)
Racedeck - none of the above

Thank you sir. I do park my truck in the garage almost every night and it's a tight fit front to back. I'm working on piecing together the parts I need for the controls.

That's quite the compliment! Thanks!

If I could bestow one piece of advice - it'd be to do everything slowly & properly the first time around. It'll save you big bucks in the long run!

Well - it's been awhile. Hope everyone is doing well. The only additions to the garage is a new car (don't worry - still have the truck) and a kegerator. :rocker:

The car is a 335i. Going OEM+. Added M4 wheels, front lip, rear diffuser & spoiler and an intake (sounds awesome). Next will be the BMW power kit tune.

radrush on post 29 I found this

It's a compressed air rail. It's kind of hard to explain so here is what the instructions say:

The tapping carriage slides back and forth along the rail. There is a tapping valve near each end.
Simply by deflecting the hose sideways
in the working direction, or approx. 50°
crosswise, the tapping carriage will
undock (compressed air will stop flowing).
The deflection will create enough momentum
to move the carriage to the next
tapping point (at which point it will magnetic lock and compressed air will begin flowing again).

It's Swiss-made and is for use on assembly lines - we just had one leftover from our warehouse and I thought it was neat.

Reference for those of us not in the "know"?

Oh I don't know anything either. The guy hasn't posted a single thing in two years but he was active last month. I was just wondering what happened to the guy and his garage. People you're following just disappear and ya never know...

Still here - here are some pictures of where it got too. Currently have the entire place torn apart and repainted and replanning the place.
