Love the colors!
Those are some nice recent pics....
Thanks a lot! Always a work in progress...
Okay your garage is fantastic to say the least, but I just have to know if you ever do any work in there? It's so clean I'd feel guilty if I actually got it dirty. I aspire to a garage that clean, but every time I get everything cleaned up and put away the tools come out again and I start working on projects.
The extent of my work are lifts/leveling kits installs, turbo & supercharger installs and oil changes. Most of the time it's just detailing. Pretty basic clean jobs so I don't have to work too hard to keep it looking nice!
Looks great. I can appreciate having a slice of heaven so close to your house. I spend more time in my garage than in the house.
Question, and I've wondered this quite often when I read through builds here.....other than the looks, what is the purpose of the racedeck floors? That is one thing that I've never understood how it is even a product anyone would buy. But it does add a unique look, but to me seems more trouble than its worth.
Just thinking out loud.
I wish I had bought racedeck sooner. For me personally it's considerably less trouble than bare concrete and/or epoxy.
From my experiences:
Bare concrete - stains easily, dusty, hard to clean, ugly in general
Epoxy - takes days to apply, slippery when wet, chips, difficult to get a perfect, even coat (specifically when clear-coating)
Racedeck - none of the above
This would be ******* sweet. Green when the door opens, yellow when close to stopping point and red at stopping point. I think it would only work best if you constantly park in the garage every day though. And have it be able to be switched off this function for display.
Your garage is awesome man. I love the build and the race deck looks great.
Thank you sir. I do park my truck in the garage almost every night and it's a tight fit front to back. I'm working on piecing together the parts I need for the controls.
