I just placed my order, I wanted one of the Hamburg Fine Bristle floor brushes, but when I added it and tried to check out there was no option for shipping methods. I could select in store pick-up but being in NJ that isn't going to work. Oh well not a deal breaker.

This one?

18" FINE HAMBURG FLOOR BRUSH

DETAILS

This brush comes with a handle and will require us to call you to let you know about the shipping options. - 18" Fine Hamburg Floor Brush w/ Handle

Order number 5955..... Didn't qualify for any of the promotions, but grabbed a ton of little things that I have been meaning to get long ago.

I took part in the last SK day, but there's not any money in the budget right now for tools I don't desperately need. We are in the middle of a remodel, so that's where all our extra cash is going.

Thanks to Jori and the tool companies for pulling this together.

Ordered some clamps and miscellaneous stuff. No freebies for me this year, but HJE had great prices on everything I ordered.

Forgot to place my order before going to bed last night.
Spent an hour this afternoon arguing with the balky server, but finally got my order in.

Order number 100005957.
Once again I spent more than I planned on. I was doing fine until I spotted the 5pc Wright 3/4dr large metric socket set. I have no use for them, but hey, who doesn't want a 50mm socket in their box ?
Right ? :lol_hitti

Two items are on backorder, but I can wait as long as it takes.
Looking forward to getting the rebuild kit from SK so I can convert a 1/4dr ratchet to 3/8dr. :bounce:

I won't qualify for the freebies, but that's ok, that's not what this event is about.
Thanks HJE for another wonderful event !

I don't think it's going to be an issue. SK said they made 100 each. If you look at the in-stock numbers at HJE (measured in negatives), the orders aren't close to selling out yet.

So how does it work once the SK sets are sold out?
Can they be back ordered, or is that it?

SK is also offering Limited Edition Classic Metal Box Sets.

Can't buy these anywhere else.

They are going to make 100 sets just for us.

This is a special pre-release, so not sure when you'll be able to get these.

Won't have them for sale on the website till the day of, and then we will immediately take them down on July 5th.

I was assuming that whatever they have in their system was all of the 100 sets. Crazy to think that the inventory system actually matches, right?

Who knows?
Order number: 100005968

I bought the Norseman 29 piece drill bit set in the flat case, and the Wright 6-19mm 3/8" sets in both standard and deep lengths.

Time to move my current metric 3/8" set to my car tool kit.

I sure wish Wright had their 3/8" flexhead ratchet in the contoured grip style.

Order # is: 100005979.

Ordered 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 SK and Wright standard ratchets. A little late, drug my feet all day and by time I ordered the Wright 1/2 were out of stock... My own fault...

Your order # is: 100005981.

Trying to save some money so couldn't order much. The new SK pliers, Craftsman Pro pliers, the weird Chinese bag, Facom nut driver, and a sticker for the truck.

Order #100005990.

No hiding my large order from the wife. Hopefully the few backorder items I chose will delay my shipment so I can butter up the wife. Get her in a good mood so she overlooks the large box on the front step.

I may have gotten the last one in under the wire... Order 5992. Not a large order but it fills in some gaps in my collection.

Now I'm perusing the "closeouts". I probably shouldn't do that....

I just finished browsing the closeouts and didn't see anything too interesting... Well, except for the Wright 15" Nut-Fucker which while I hate using adjustable wrenches, would be pretty cool. Though not as cool as the 24"! If that was 30$ my money would already be out of my pocket and sailing across the interwebs to HJE.

Order 5993! 56 sec before cutoff! Kicked myself for not picking up one of the SK boxed sets, hope we get a chance again. Made a modest order of wrenches which are the tools I'm lacking most. Sure my future FIL is glad to have me out of his Snappy drawer. Look forward to future tool days. :rocker:

What a great Epstein's Day! Thank you guys so much!

We are busily printing the orders and getting everything together, :willy_nil so I will check back in later and let you know the final tally, but you guys were right around 140 orders.

I took this screenshot with one hour to go last night. Off the top of my head I would guess the average order is right around $200. That is pretty close to what we average online A MONTH, and you guys did it in one day, so it's a pretty big deal for us. Thanks again!

120 plus orders

Yes, well over 200 orders this year. Thanks again guys. Once again your overwhelming support is humbling. Everyone at Epstein's really appreciates what you've done here. We'll be hard at work Saturday printing all the orders out and starting to sort through them.

You guys are awesome!

So as you guys can imagine, I spent most of today packing boxes (and drawing on them). We had over 150 orders which was more than last year. Also the size of each order was substantially more, so we definitely saw some growth. On another note, with all of your box art requests, our UPS guy is starting to look at us kinda crazy. I took a picture of all the boxes sitting there, but don't want to spoil the surprise.

Also, our servers did get overloaded, so if you didn't get a confirmation email, or if checkout seemed to be kinda glitchy, PM me with your order number, and I can look it up and make sure everything went through ok.

It will probably take a week for us to go through everything, but believe me, we are working overtime to make sure we can process the orders in a timely manner.

thanks again for everything

Jori

154 orders in my inbox today. Not sure if they are all GJ orders, but I bet most of them are. Good work!!!

I wanted to participate this year, but my wallet made it very clear it was a no-go. ***** too, because my SK day shirt from last year got ruined leaning over a cart and getting Yamabond all over the front (was easily my favorite shirt), but I can't for the life of me find anything from Wright I could've used. I need more wrenches and chrome sockets like a hole in the head.

Make sure to post up pics of all the goodies you folks loaded up on when they arrive.

Thanks LB, I know it's been going on a while. I meant to say that I hope they have the metal boxed sets available again or that SK releases them officially to the public soon. I'm happy to be able to finally participate.

Glad to hear this was worth the effort for you guys. I tried to order this unit but ran into a roadblock with shipping issues. I wasn't sure how to proceed so I dropped it from my order, give it a try yourself and see what happens. I was told that form of shipping was unavailable but couldn't select a different method. I would still like to get that rush if you can help me out it would be appreciated. Thanks.
