Im curious about something in the pics, at the bottom of the sheathing, there is a small gap on one side of the building, where the trailer is parked. But, there is not the same gap on the other sides of the building with the door entries. Just curious why that would be there, is it something to do with finishing with a full sheet at the top of the wall?

An update with photos of the last week. Picked up a little forklift for $300..runs but needs a couple bearings in the steering box...pretty easy fix.

LOVE the trusses to maximize the space in attic.

You plan on having big door on outside so you can get stuff up there ??
Will the forklift reach up that high ??

Keep pics coming !! Great shop.

Yes, I'm planning on building carriage doors on both ends that will open up to
8 feet. The forklift wont reach...I'll admit I didn't check the lift height before I bought it. I think I'm going to finish fixing it and sell it to get one with a higher lift.

This weeks update, finished the trusses and sheathing the roof. This week will be finishing the gable ends, shingling the roof, prepping the floor for concrete and pouring.

The floor is all in and usable!!! This weekend we hung the garage doors, the walk in doors and windows. Got some of the siding up to mount the meter box. Now to concentrate on the roof.

Roofer came in yesterday, started around 2pm and in a couple hrs they have already got so much done. It's definitely a good idea to leave some things to a professional.

Nice build. I love seeing the old iron you're going to be working on in there too. I'm a wannabe tractor guy. I have an 08 New Holland 2420. That attic storage is excellent.

Great looking shop!!!!

No Scouts? Guess I can't say anything. Other than a 2 inch tall 1086, I don't have any IH tractors. Wish I did.

Yes, I do have a scout, a 67 800 v8 in Sheridan, WY that I need to get home.

That should round out the stable. I have a 64 80 (4 cyl) and a 69 800 Aristocrat (304).

Lived in Deaver Wyoming for one year (1978).

Awesome to see some other IH/Scout fans here! I have 4 of them myself.....Three 1972 II's (one being a parts truck), and an 800b Comanche. Would love to find an Aristocrat one day!

Almost finished with this one.

Wow, great looking shop! Shelving and everything.

I also like the IH brand.

Started in 1977 driving a Loadstar 1650 my boss rented to PennDot for snow removal.
Helped build the IH Registry Cub cadet site in 2001. It crashed and I started www.cubcadetcollectors in 2010.

Currently the herd consist of a 1961 Original Cub Cadet, a 149 HE (High Extended) Cub Cadet custom build and a Farmall 140 (for sale).

I'm in Southwest PA.

It's a good runner. I bought it off the local church where I do grounds. Used to cut 4 acres with a Woods belly mower. Loved the sound pulling the hills in second. Sold the mower a couple years ago, mistake, coulda had the tractor sold if it still had the mower. It has a full size pickup snow plow which does great on the driveway but I have a new Yanamr for that now.
I bought it with the intention of restoring it but that hasn't happened and I don't like them just sitting around not getting used.

Got the two carriage doors built to fill the hole you see that's covered by the tarp. Now to fill screw holes, sand, seal and paint.
