OP
LoL.I've been thinking of the courage involved in under taking kitchen renovations during the holidays. You have patient family. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas and thank you for what you’re doing.I wanted this corner done before Christmas but life and work happens. I'm here at work Christmas Eve, working the first 7 hours on Christmas. I'll be back on the 26th for a 24 OT shift and off till Monday.
This corner should be done over the weekend.
Merry Christmas and thank you for what you’re doing.
Be safe
Thanks. Merry Christmas and a Happy and safe New Year to all.Merry Christmas!

Aren't you supposed to skip a number, like they do with elevator floors? Skip the 13th floor and the thirteenth battery!Picked up a new DeWalt planer yesterday. It was a free bare tool after buying a 2 piece battery kit.
When I unboxed the DeWalt stuff this morning, I wanted to mark the batteries like I had the other 20V batteries.
I mark mine with my initials, month/year and I number them. I wasn't sure where I was in numbering the batteries. I gathered up all of them and found I had another one not numbered.
This evening, I realized that I now have 13 batteries and kinda shook my head...13 ?

Nope. 13 is my lucky number. Nobody wants it, I'll take it.Aren't you supposed to skip a number, like they do with elevator floors? Skip the 13th floor and the thirteenth battery!
Basically as an ID number. Are you using a rotation system for these batteries or is there any other reason you number them?
Thanks and to you as well.Happy & healthy 2025 to you and your loved ones NuttsGT
On Dewalt, never heard that one. They did offer it on the Rigid line at one time. Now, I'm not sure if they still do it.At one time I believe Home Depot was offering a lifetime warranty on the Dewalt cordless tools, even the batteries. Is that still true? I don’t know how that could really be a good policy, and who’s lifetime?!

What's a couple swears between friends?a little Tourette’s thrown in for good measure
I usually have an extra tube on hand. I think the last time I went to buy some, TSC was out.I keep a couple spare tubes on hand. But it's no quick store trip for me.
TSC is about 7 miles for me.... but, a special trip is probably at least 40 minutes. Stop, wash hands, hop in the truck and drive to TSC... Go in store, grab grease, check clearance sections, talk to employees, check out and drive home.I hate running out of stuff during a project, to the point that I've been stocking up commonly used items such as grease and oil. Granted I only live 4-5 miles from the closest auto/tractor/house supply stores, it's just a time-consuming trip if it's for something like grease only.
Thanks for the vote of confidence Cam. I had a SWAG circle cutter for the plasma.... that didn't work too well for me. I screwed it up.Don’t feel bad about your ovals Eric. I don’t know what it is but I can cut a laser straight line with a framing saw, put a portaband in my hand and it looks like it came off a drop down bandsaw. But every time I grab my plasma torch I swear I turn into a blind man with Parkinson’s and a little Tourette’s thrown in for good measure
Couple ?What's a couple swears between friends?
I would have preferred it to be better but it will be fine... LoL, if it works.Nice fix!
(and now I understand why cutting a perfect circle wasn't needed)

I have a few pegs with the same issue. I'd be curious about your solution!Pay no attention to the couple of sockets not fitting properly, a few pegs need some "slimming."
My first thought is a carbide and due grinder to make quick work of it.... maybe a stone.I have a few pegs with the same issue. I'd be curious about your solution!
