My vision is bad enough I need to carry a pair of small binoculars with me to see stuff up really high!

Brinkmann grills are only 25-35% off at my store but they should be getting new stock in soon & im hoping the Scrooge mgr will want to unload at that time!

Found several of the Brinkmann Grills but they are all waaay up on the top shelf. Not sure if it will be worth the trouble getting them down and then trying to actually go through the SCO with those big boxes without getting hammered by the clerk(s). I did find one more Paslode nailer on the overhead shelf. It was missing one of the buckles on the plastic carry case so I asked them for a discount. The MOD said how about 10% off. I said how about 30%. She said okay but let me check the price. She scanned it twice and had that WTF look on here face. I said it's $100.03 right? She said yes with a shocked look on here face. Walked out with it for $70. haha (Price Check shows none available at any stores in my area)

On another note, I just got back from AZ and checked out a HD there. I was amazed at how much more stuff was on clearance compared to the stores in my area (TX). There were yellow tags all over the place! Yellow tags on the many of the end caps, mixed in on the aisles, special sections, etc. In my area, there are maybe 2 tiny "Clearance" end caps with mostly junk with yellow tags all with $.00 prices. Little to no yellow tag items are found mixed in with the other items on the aisles.

I am going to have to make another run next week to check on these nailers I guess. I hit about 5 stores in the Houston area last week looking for something totally different and now am kicking myself for not checking at that time. I know I got the last one from what I can tell from the 2 store nearest to me.

That's what I just saw at the Mentor, OH Home Depot. One endcap with a bunch of rolls of screen, and some open box stuff. I've been wandering around the store the last couple trips and haven't really seen any yellow tags anywhere else.

Found a few framing nailers here in AZ... There were 3 left when I bought mine, but the employees started swarming around and said they were probably going to pick up the other ones....

If anyone has a lead on a finish nailer or wants to trade for a framing one, let me know

You wont have much luck south of the beltway. I frequent all of them and they are pretty much gone.

Got a nailer and 3 more tile saw blades today. I also had my first incident of being told to get off the computer. It happened in appliances. He was nice about it but told me they are for HD associates only. I didn't argue with him and left the area.

It's actually kinda neat because no batteries are required.

Well homedepot.com says my store doesn't have any, but I'll check it out anyways, so thanks for the SKU, I appreciate it and hope I can get one. A new shower head for a penny would be sweet.

All the ones I've seen so far in TX have been full price. Hope you have better luck than I did. I actually need a shower head too.

Found a Char-Broil Patio Bistro TRU-Infrared Electric Grill (SKU# 793156) still in the box for a penny today. Store PC said this store had 2 of the framing nailers in stock but couldn't find them anywhere. The penny grill was a nice consolation prize. Also found another Ridgid tile saw blade and a couple of the Sharkbite valves all for pennies.

The grill is this one.

Well that's not very reassuring, but if I find two that are a penny then I'll pick up two and you can pay for shipping for one of them, the other will go in my shower.

But if you haven't found any for a penny, then I probably won't either, but it'll still be fun to go check.

Yes, I stopped at a few stores today and picked up a 10" blade & six 8" blades for pennies. I also found 3 paslode framing nailers. Bought 2 because not sure how quickly I will be able to get rid of them.

Where are you in the Bay Area?

SF; closest ones to me are the Pro store and the regular one in Colma and one in Daly City

What are the Model numbers and Sku's for the Paslode Nailers? For the life of me I've searched on here and found different ones. Thanks

Oh, I mainly hit up the store in Pleasanton, concord, Antioch, Brentwood yesterday. I live in the Central Valley and work over in the concord area so I just stopped by the stores on my way home.

Well looks like I will be holding on to those Paslode nailers for a while. Going for $150-180 on eBay. No way I'm going that low for a $400 nailer

My thoughts exactly. CL is flooded with them too. I'm going to buy and hold onto them for a little while, then sell.

An HD employee helped me find 2 that were already on the top shelf wrapped with saran wrap. I could not see them from the floor. I doubt they be around if they are packing them up already.

Yeah that would kill the profit. 269 or above

I use a rough estimate of 15% less than sale price because of fees, etc. Factor in some towards shipping cost too.

Now if you are selling for no fees (i.e. CL, Facebook tag sale, etc) then you could probably get away with 250 on the 100.03 nailer. But to make that same 150 profit after fees and shipping, you are looking at even more than 269....closer to 289.

Why not just go thru self checkout?

I was in self checkout, tried to pick a prime time to go there but the employee almost immediately noticed, froze my computer and walked over to grab my items claiming they could not sell them to me.

I went for volume and sold what I had at 245 minutes fees
