Hopefully the Dewalt DW745 table saw and the Ryobi 4ah battery packs start dropping sooner than later. I saw that the Dewalt miter saw DWS709 dropped to $300.

I hope those battery packs drop soon too. They are currently $84 and between both of the HD in my city they have 14 CASES of them

I used to work part time at HD. I saw many items going into the compactor. I saw 6 new Jenn-Aire cooktops going into the compactor that had sat for over a year at .01 pricing. If they wanted to donate, those would have been awesome. Hell, I would have liked to had one in my own kitchen.

I am planning to swing by a local HD for me tonight. But I don't want to waste my time either. Is the Paslode 16-Gauge Angled Cordless Lithium-Ion Nailer Model # 902400 Store SKU # 343546 at $100.03 aswell?

I picked up a framing nailer last week, which was fortuitous since I needed one for an upcoming home project. Would be nice to have the trim nailer as well.

Also, in an attempt to summarize items and get past all the wonderful stories posted here (Not being sarcastic, I do enjoy reading them), can we create a running list of items that people are finding? I.e. 1 post with the name, sku and price. Then a strike through when it is OBE? I realize every store is different and alot of this is YMMV.

The general consensus is that the trim nailer is not widely on sale, and should be checked at your store. Some places it is some places it is not.

I have not seen the trim nailer on clearance at any of the 13 stores I've been to in the past week and a half. You'll just have to check the computer.

Looks like you should be able to reach it with the yellow ladder and according to Char-Broil's website it weighs 113 lbs. If you can manage that then get it down yourself or bring a buddy. To pay for it at SCO you could have your buddy help lift it or possibly take a photo of the UPC on your phone and then scan the photo. Good luck.

I've gotten two penny Char-Broil grills at different stores in the last week. Both were on the higher shelves so I had to have an employee bring them down. At one store they just gave it to me after they saw the price and the other store I was able to scan it myself at SCO while the cashier was helping another customer. Easy peasy.

We tried something along those lines awhile ago. There was a spreadsheet that ~20 contributed too and the rest took advantage of. I think at somepoint over 200+ had access. I think its easier to just post up here what you found/bought than having someone update a running list. I can be pretty daunting.

I have tried taking a pic of a barcode, then scanning the phone/pic at self checkout, it did NOT work.

Don't get caught tampering with a bar code. Could be considered theft or fraud.

Char-Broil is listed as a discontinued with HD. Know a floor manager at local store and he says inventory at their store is going back to Char-Broil.

It has to be "just the right size". It SHOULD work, but again showing up with your own barcodes (or even worse, IMHO, cutting them out of the box) is really on the edge as far as ethical/legal boundaries.

As far as deals go:

5 gallon jug of Rustoleum Restore deck primer is down to 40.03

SKU 1001247274

Tag was marked 10/21/15 so it might be even lower

I don't see a problem with cutting the bar code. If someone actually cares and watched a camera one day they would see you scanned the actual code you cut out.

If you take a photo then scan your phone who knows what you could be scanning.

You could also take a photo. Print it out and then go back and scan that.

As long as the code is on the edge of the box you'll be OK at sco scanning it. If it is in the middle of the box then it physically can't reach the scanner.

I had two stores this black Friday cut bar codes off the box and give them to me to scan so customers didn't need to lug big stuff through the check out

Interesting. I always questioned doing that, especially when I managed to find one of the DeWalt table saws in a store where it was down to a penny.

I didnt have the guts to have someone get it down then me try to scan it in self checkout (either trying to scan the whole box or cutting out the UPC)

I'm still waiting for them to start dropping in my area. They are still full price here.

FYI - All the stores I went to had the white full price sticker. When I finally did find one it rang up at $100.03. Tried it out last night on a project I have going on... works pretty nice. I've had the trim nailer for a few years and it's awesome for a DIY'er. No hoses, no compressor.

At 1 of 4 stores I went to yesterday I found a trim nailer with a clearance tag on it for 300.06 but when I price checked it it was back at full price, $399.

All the framing nailers were tagged $300.06 and rang up $100.03.

There is still some Charbroil stuff at my HD but it isn't on clearance yet. How can that be?

The only ones in my area are the pedestal ones for a penny, it seems the other ones are not clearance priced either

This Phifer Bettervue screen repair kit came up as an "item not found" for me at SCO today. Strange because I also bought a few of the other clearance screen rolls which rang up at the deeply discounted tagged price. I didn't know when I went up there that this one wouldn't scan so the cashier ended up ringing it up on a generic SKU for the tagged price of $3.00. Given that it scanned as a not found item, I thought I'd post it in case any of you were more persuasive and could try and get them for free. There were lots of these in the couple stores I've recently visited.

Friday there were many Charbroil grills at my HD. They weren't on clearance. Today, there aren't any Charbroil products. Nothing even in the store computer. No way they sold everything. Must have sent it back.

Yes, they sent them back to several employees back yards.

All of the Brinkman grilling tools were dirt cheap at my local store ($.03 pricing). Didn't need any, but I did buy 4 packs 100/ct bamboo skewers for $.53 each. If you need some grilling tongs or spatulas, or whatever else they have for grilling stuff, nows the time to get it.
They had rib racks, a grill wok, I think a fish basket

I got my first deal today. I was looking for a nailer so I stopped in and saw the Paslode CF325 up on the shelves. After waiting for someone to get it down I went over to the SCO and sure enough it rang up $100.03.

They also had all their screen repair kits and tools on clearance.

I have noticed that in one store all of the Latitude levers were .01, and the Broadways were full price. 10 miles away it was the opposite??? What gives? Is one or the other being phased out?

Also, every store I have gone to has said "go ahead" when asked to use the store computer. I found that if you pull up the "price check" app and just hit "search" without typing anything in, it will pull up everything, starting at .01. There are a bunch of Christmas decorations to sift through, but it definitely pulls up stuff you might not have thought to search for.

I noticed that in the stores I went through yesterday. Some are keeping the latitudes in stock, while others are keeping the Broadways in stock. It's all part of the usual "every store is different" stuff that makes this fun.

I know I will get blasted for even thinking this, but what would happen if I bought them at one store and returned them to the other? Would Odin strike me down immediately?

My Jack broke last week. Picked up the 3000lb aluminum low profile racing jack for $39. They had about 8 left. My car should be much faster now.

We're these just on the normal shelves, higher up or in a clearance area? My local didn't even show a space for those

Damn, some of you guys are making out really well. I have gone to HD so many times looking for these deals and walk out empty handed every time.

Managed to find one of the chamberlain for 42.02 hiding between the other ones. Almost got the wrong one, evp instead of the evg. The clearance one has the Internet gateway included.
